Did you need to modify your foundation? When I added a second story, I had to modify/strengthen the foundation since it was not orginally engineered to support one story.

You can clearly see The house was already a 2-story house to begin with, so you wouldn’t need to strengthen the foundation.

@@rdelgado77 snow weight. You want water and snow to run off the roof.

@@rdelgado77 when the roof has a flat pitch like that it wears out much faster. You shouldn't put shingles on when the roof is that shallow of a pitch. You would have to do rolled roofing. They spent all that time and money they should have just brought new trusses in and raised the height of the roof to the correct pitch. It will save a lot of time and money in the future.
