Beautiful pond mate! and yes blood sweat and tears, but as you also know when your sitting there with a coffee in the morning feeding the koi and all those memories flood back of the build and it always puts a smile on your face.

MARK'S SHRIMP CUPBOARD Thank you for the nice comment. It has been a labour of love. I can't wait for Spring to arrive then I'm cracking on with pond number 2. This time a indoor raised Koi pond. I'm also doing away with the current Vortex filter units and replacing them with two Aqua Source Synergy 35's, one for each pond. So lots of work to do again this year 😣

We've just bought a new garden furniture set and an Outdoor Chef BBQ. They've been tested fully next to the pond 😁 It is nice to sit back and relax next to it but sadly the rest of the garden is needing attention now. No rest for the wicked lol.

Hi There, I am just wondering what sort of rocks you chose for your waterfall and edging... Also what did you do in order to choose the plants you chose for your pond...many thanks

It's Limestone walling for the waterfall and the same for the inside of the pond walls although that has been cut into blocks. Two different sizes so i could get the correct height I wanted. As for the plants, just a trip to the garden centre and picked what's nice. All Water Lilies were bought via eBay and planted within baskets. The baskets will be changed this year for larger ones and a new anti-Koi routing around idea installed. Hope this helps :)
