Mercedes was on a sailing many years ago out of the Dominican Republic. The guests were 50/50 English and Spanish speaking. She switched rapid fire between the two languages during all shows. It was FANTASTIC. We missed nothing during the other languages. The Quest was so much fun and I really enjoyed that the events were not split by any language barriers. Would love to sail with her again one day. What an amazing opportunity for her to have her family on board.

OMG!!! Hey, Mercedes!!!! Had an amazing time with her as my Cruise Director in August for a 12-night sailing out of Barcelona. Her baby and husband were on that cruise but I assumed it was a one-time trip together. The Vision crew is AMAZING!!!! Please tell Kim in the Schooner Bar (and my Cabin Steward Maria if you happen to cross her path) that Nikki said hello! 🙂 I worked my butt off trying to win the Nations scavenger hunt but only came in 3rd. lol

Haha good eye! The captain actually started the engine at that exact moment! As we were sitting right above.it, you def felt it! Surprised the noise didn't get picked up on the microphones too. Luckily, the announcement for missing people was in the first part and we could re do it.

I'm actually not sure! I didn't think to ask that! As she has her own cabin, if there is a cost, it would be very minimal. They are not paying the cruise fare like we would.
