There's no rescue or saving going on here. He's funding animal cruelty by paying the grocery store for these animals, ensuring that they buy/capture more animals to sell. And for every one they sell, there are probably multiple that were caught and died before they could make it to market. Not to mention the deaths of countless other animals from bycatch. This channel is using and abusing animals to get people to donate for his profit. And keep in mind that now those crabs that might have fed a family are being fed live animals by some huckster on KZbin who fools people into thinking he's rescuing animals. He's multiplying cruelty.

They aren't dogs. I find it unlikely that they are aware that they are being cared for in any capacity of affection ( i think proven by the fact that the crabs keep trying to claw the dudes hands) & while I can't prove it, i'd bet that both crabs would prefer to be back in the wild instead of confined to a small prison called an aquarium.
@elin_Ай бұрын
@horusluprecal1144 ffs.. not only domestic animals feel things, and no, they're probably not super aware that someone saved them.. but so what?? Do you only give to charity when you can brag about it on social media? In the wild, they'd very likely be captured again, sold and eaten.
@horusluprecal1144Ай бұрын
@@elin_ Way to miss my point dude... "not only domestic animals feel things" Gee, thanks Captain obvious. Take note that i never said that they didn't. Try not to 'strawman' "they're probably not super aware that someone saved them" - try "not at all aware" " but so what??" I stated that he saved them from being eaten sure, but to be held captive in a small confined tank when i'm sure they'd rather be back in the wild. Domesticated animals such as dogs need providing homes, wild animals i'm sure would rather not be held in captivity. " Do you only give to charity when you can brag about it on social media?" what ever gave you the idea to say something so stupid. I'm not even on facebook, twitter, tik-tok or whatever else there is out there so unless you count You-Tube as social media, i'm not even on it. Nor do i have any videos showing the homeless pets that i've adopted or managed to return to their owners. What was even your point of posting? To show the world how big of a diick you are? I never said dude couldn't keep his crabs as pets. Just that 'unlike dogs who can & usually do figure out that they have been saved & exactly who did it, that the crabs are oblivious to that fact & if you could ask them, they'd rather be back in the wild. I don't think I can simplify it any further for you.

@fenchellforelleАй бұрын
@@dragonnet289 true on the first part, they only tend to live for 1 - 2 years, but the animal dying eventually is just part of getting a pet. Mice only live for about that timeframe and plenty of people keep them as pets. Second part is just strange though, of course you need an enclosure it cant just crawl out of, but thats again pretty much a given for every pet, and an octopus only lives for a couple minutes under ideal circumstances outside the water anyways, so its not like theres a risk of it getting out into the ecosystem.

And in the meantime, around 10,000 children starve to death each day worldwide. I got no problem with homeboy raising some crabs, but let's not put him on a pedestal for it.
@adrianab.5809Ай бұрын
@@patrickrichardson2518 Sir, it was never my intention to put this individual on a pedestal...merely acknowledging that there is some sparks of empathy out there. Can you also refrain from taking this conversation in a different direction than it was intended? Much appreciated.

Thank you so much for the effort and quality you've put into this!! So amazing 😄🥰😭😭🥹😍😋 I feel for these creatures!!! We're so lucky we get to eat them but look at how much enthusiasm and different personalities they have 😇 I wish we could save them all but it is part of nature to eat them as well... I would SO love to have pets like this one day 😇😁

i hope you can save the frogs too, i have kept frogs as well, and as long as your hands are clean and moist, i found my frogs would quickly get used to and even enjoy being held, theyd relax and sit chill with you; also would actually lean into gentle scritches on the side.

Some crabs will blow bubble nests to conceal themselves, considering how exposed these crabs were, the combination of better oxygenation and a sense of cover was probably very appealing.
