You've done a great job! Carpenter tips, put tee's and corners in while the wall is on the floor. Top plate them on the floor as well. Faster and less up and down the ladder. Also put insulation in your box headers before you install them. All in all, I'm impressed with you guys.

I think you need a nailer on that front wall to support the wall you will build for the bedroom wall. Will also help with hanging drywall, if this is the medium you are going to use.

The headers are a U shape and have a hollow inside. Most of them you can access later and add batt insulation. But the header above the shower window is already covered. Can you still fill it now, with a bit of work? Or, if you can't, you could drill a hole and spray foam it ... but that would use a fair amount of spray foam.

Your thumbnail had me confused, having your floor painted gray made it look like concrete and I didn't remember you pouring a slab. lol. A little tip when you are tilting up walls on a second floor. You can nail a 2x4 to the outside of your first floor that sticks up about 4 feet and lines up with a set of window studs on your second floor. Then when you tilt up your wall it has a stopper of sorts to help keep it from tilting to far and falling off the edge. You guys are doing great. :)

That is what Rob is doing with his mobile tiny home rebuild. He is also framing his walls in squares. He is framing each wall in sections so he can put them up himself. Same as Marty's neighbor and church member Health did with his garage shop he framed in. Rob's you tube channel is little house off grid.

You keep mentioning the stumps in the garden so I thought I would share something I have done in the past. Living in the city, building fires is somewhat frowned upon in Southern California, so for each stump I grabbed two large bags of charcoal, dug around the base of the stump to be able to nest half a bag of charcoal and light it. Over two days I would add more charcoal as needed and it would completely consume the stump and the roots as well. Of course none of my stumps were even close to the size of some of yours, but more charcoal would work wonders. You could probably also just build a fire over it (no diesel in the garden! LOL!) as that would probably work just as well. The nice thing is it would be removing the stumps whhile you are doing other things!

Looking good! When we were putting up heavy walls (had two 9’ high) we secured a rope to the top plate so that one of us (usually me) could keep it from teetering. Worked pretty good. But now that you’ve got your outside walls up, you’ll probably get those inside walls up piece of cake! 👍🏻😃

You should consider the final available glass on these smaller windows. Adding the jamb, frame, shimming space, and the window sash itself, you actually have a tiny available view. Nows the time to change it.

Hey guys, another thought on the off centered windows. If your not committed on the windows it would make better sense to put one nice size window instead of two In each room.. You could in-fill the interior framing and need only change and inlarge the other. The larger size would provide much better views, better insulation, probably a little less $.

The two middle windows are too close to the partition wall. If you are going to put curtains on them, you need space for the rods. The outside edge of your curtain should go 4” past the window to prevent light leak. They should also be centered on the inside wall for the aesthetics of the room. I know you like the looks from the outside, but it is going to make the rooms look odd from the inside. Maybe 1 larger window in each room, centered on the inside wall. I have a degree in interior design. I had a builder put a window on each side of the fireplace & they were right up against the fireplace. It presented quite the challenge. I am amazed the amount of work y’all have gotten done. Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸👍❤️🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
