Check their website and it’ll give you a pretty good estimate but you’re at least looking at spending about 6 or 7,000

Humm , cut my own roof and put a used $500 Coleman canoe on top and use some roofing supplies,flashing and caulking.. probably under 2k ... thinking Outside the Box for inside the Box...🤔😊😊😎☮️

@@rev.lazarus906 it was I think 7g or so. We added windows and installed a vent. It was a great investment. Being able to change out of snowboarding gear or wetsuits in the van has been nice

Think its a little more than that. Aboutt 4-5k installed. They quoted 2775 for a 12" for my honda odyssey, plus 975 install, and theres options. Theirs is 24" so its gonna be more.

@@johnlucier5654 he got a bare top with no windows or vents or interior finishing. That all costs extra.

@@wblynch yeah thats right i got 2775 plus 975 quoted for a 12" odyssey top no options. That 24" top is a lot more fiberglas, its not gonna be less than the 12" top. Im seeing testimonials online of full size van owners saying their 24" tops were over 6k installed. So the 3k just doesnt add up to me. Perhaps you thought when I said then theres options that my quote included them. It didnt. I meant options would add to it. Whatever, not somethin worth arguing about. Contact fiberine theyll get back to you same or next day.

Thank you! The high top was about $2,000 and the installation was around an extra $1,000. It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it! We are so happy to have you join us on our journey :)

We got ours done last month - the 30” super camper on a Ford e350 extended and it was about $6300. We love it!!

I'm interested to know if you've had any concerns about the way van handles after getting the high-top installed. I have a high-top and find it somewhat difficult to handle in wind or when semis or other large vehicles pass on the freeway. What is your experience or that of anyone else watching this video? TY

you might try installing stiffer suspension, shocks.

I own a low top work Chevy and a high top Chevy, both 1998. High top is affected by wind more, and was bad until I rebuild the steering components. They have a large side profile so wind can push you, but you learn to correct for it.

@@marthamryglod291 learning to correct for it is one part, of course, but since I posted my question I have gotten a lot of info from other high-top van owners and this is a known problem that can/may be corrected with mechanical updates (steering, as you mentioned, tires, suspension, sway bars, etc). This problem occurs after removing the hundreds of pounds of seats and wheelchair lift as most of us do when we convert a van. So, "just live with it" is not a solution as it is a real safety issue. For now I'm sticking to secondary roads on which, at slower speeds, the van handles like a dream.

??? No dimensional info? What is the floor to ceiling measurement? This video unfortunately doesn't tell us anything other than you had a raised roof installed. Nothing about its properties, etc. Another wasted 10 minutes on amateurs. Ho hum.
