We were in Murren in 2019 and stayed at the Hotel Eiger, which was gorgeous! What a view! We did the Adventure Walk on Birg…nothing like standing on a glass walkway thousands of feet in the air. It’s a glorious place!

I love the alps in region in switzerland, austria, germany and france and italy :D The alps are awesome. Many countries sharing one region and still every part of it has something a little different. be it cheese from goats or cows. be it meat from beef to pork. be it different herbs in the food.

I have been to Leysin, Switzerland, similar in size and scenery, but in the French part of Switzerland. Yes it is peaceful in these types of places, but very, very boring. Being on vacation in a place is one thing, where you have only a few days to fill with activities. But, actually living in such a remote place is boring as hell, as I lived in Leysin for two months when I was studying there. And yes, Leysin is also picture perfect and beautiful and peaceful, just like Murren, Switzerland. Leysin is reachable by finicular cable (mountain) train (Finiculaire in French).
