Is the 2024 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS the KING of high performance sports cars?

The GT4 RS is the pinnacle of mid-engine Porsche. On the outside of the Weissach package you will notice an exposed carbon fiber hood/rear spoiler/side mirrors/side scoops, forged wheels and titanium exhaust. On the inside you will be greeted by fixed back carbon fiber bucket seats and complete race-tex dash. Powering the GT4 RS is a 4.0L flat-6 that is mated to a 7-speed PDK. Holy crap, I had to watch that again! You probably dint want to say how fast you were taking those turns but it looked planted on the road just like you said! I had a 1985 RX7 (technically a mid engine) that revved high and with a suspension kit that was lmgave that sensation minus 400 hp. Time slowed down when you got onto those twisty back roads. Thanks for the passion!

BTW, I've driven torqu-ee corvettes that had gobs of power. I don't get that kind of out of body experience with low rpm engines with high torque. The 7000 rpm and up engines give you that!

They are in a class by themselves and appropriately the slogan “Porsche there is no substitute” makes sense. Love it! My favorite Porsche . I saw & heard the original 2016 GT4 (2500 made) It had the Carrera S engine at the time. Sounded glorious. Spent about an hour talking with the owner who came up from Florida. I’ll never forget it

There’s something about exposed carbon hoods that look decidedly cheap and “aftermarket.” For a car well into 6 digit territory, it looks like a 2006 Nissan 350Z, or maybe a Lancer Evo.

I don't think I have seen Joe not being able to speak at a STOP sign...or at any sign for that matter! But that's what the skunkmasters from Weissach can do when they have free reign with a car. This is the middle-engine compact super car to buy! End of. Sure, there are bigger, more powerful fish out there, but the way this thing looks, goes, sounds and handles is out of this world. If you are in doubt, go watch the Nurburgring video from a couple of years ago. And if nearly 500 horses are not enough for you, there is always Manthey Racing, they will sort you out!
