Is the Mercedes AMG GT R a BETTER sports car than a 2024 C8 Corvette Z06?

Just the feel when you sit in these things. It hugs you, makes you feel like you’re in a sports cars. It’s a great feeling. You don’t get the same in a lot of other sports cars around this price

Mercedes AMG engineers had to kidnap the entire Accounting department to allow this car to be built. The 2024 update is a nice refresh with touchscreen infotainment. Great video Joe!

I love the Nürburgring. It is on my bucket list. This would surely be the car to have when going for fast lap times. This car looks phenomenal in that particular shade of green. Those gold aluminum wheels match the car perfectly. Super sexy sports car. I wouldn't be able to say whether or not this is better than the ZO6. Both cars are the real deal and pretty equal in my opinion.

Close your eyes in a vacuum, no brand allegiance, no bias, and tell me this isn't the top 3 most exciting sounds of any engine ever made. It has the low and medium grunt, the high end isn't obnoxious like many others, and the pops are consistent. 90% of drivers would wish their cars sound like this, given performance was there which would allow me to accept the green hell/gold color. The performance and sound make the color fit.

FYI. Bi turbo is twin turbo. And no, one turbo doesn't spool up before next. It's a hot V setup with one turbo for each bank(cylinder head). They are the same size turbo and spool together.

I have the exactly same spec green hell magno with rear wing and mirror caps carbon and full opted carbon interior. But my car has carbon ceramic brakes. 2018 model year pre facelift without opf. That is a beautiful car.

I've driven several exotic supercars including a Ferrari 488 GTB, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a Nissan GT-R, a Lamborghini Huracan, a McLaren MP4-12C, the C8 Corvette and the Mercedes AMG GT-R. The Mercedes is the best of them all. Zero turbo lag, it sounds amazing and it's a surprisingly comfortable ride. Mercedes is the way to go.

Joe - I had the opportunity to drive the GT-R at the AMG Academy at Laguna Seca. Incredible mechanical grip! And the brakes are impressive as well. They really did a great job setting up this car. I'm curious though, was the exhaust stock on that car? I don't remember hearing that much burbling.
