I bought a 23 Pilot Elite brand new in June 23. So far I’ve put on 28K on it and it’s been a Honda in the sense that reliably wise I haven’t had one single problem with it! The biggest drawback is the only 9 inch screen which still holds true for 25! The forthcoming 26 Passport gets a 12 incher so I’m guessing the Pilot will follow suit for 26. The V6 has more than adequate power and has a somewhat high husky V8 like sound that can also be heard outside of it which means it naturally sounds like that and isn’t being pumped through the speakers. I’ve been averaging 23.5 mpg with it since I bought it. It’s interesting the EPA numbers for the Buick and my Pilot are very similar. Maybe a turbocharged 4 cylinder is cheaper to build? As for a projected 0-60 in 6.3 for the Buick that makes it about a half second quicker than my Pilot which is hardly much faster. My Honda has a ten speed as opposed to the Buick’s eight speed so that’s clearly what’s offsetting the power and 0-60 on both. All in all,I didn’t have good luck with GM in the past so after a year and a half with no problems I’ll keep my Honda. I rest my case!

All these automakers are doing away with them and going to 4 cylinders. Mostly, I think, for emissions and efficiency. However, I have yet to see efficiency get any better with any of these new 4s. If that's their reasoning, then we need to be getting 35-40 mpg (non hybrid). If not, then I want my 6 back. They are so much smoother. Even with this 4 cylinder having more power than their prior 4s, it still struggles and is loud.

I am looking at these right now. Love the the Traverse but its missing features and more basic inside. Would take an Acadia but not a fan of the Ipad Looking Display , (had a 2021 V-6) and now there's the Enclave which is really nice inside. I know many people may not care about how a vehicle represents you but I'm sorry... driving a blacked out Z71 Traverse does not compare to driving an Enclave ST (even though they are basically the same). Buick will always be synonymous with being an old persons vehicle, I know ... I currently have an 2023 Envision ST! 😝

I liked Buick Avista styling but the brand needed a radical make over. Buick finally looks special like Mazda aims to do. The question is whether Chevrolet should be aiming this high instead of wasting such a desirable product on low volume Buick? Chevrolet is currently #3 in US. With Buick perks like quiet tide and that dash, Chevy could finally overtake Honda in sales.

My local Buick dealer is now GONE after 116 years in business. They still sell GMC. The next nearest Buick dealer is also GONE. I would have to drive 36.4 miles to get it serviced at a Buick dealer. I have at least 7 other dealers within 1 mile from my home. Not one of them sells GM products other than the aforementioned GMC. The execs at GM are grossly overpaid.

This third generation looks meh to me. Like the second gen Traverse, the second gen Enclave was beautiful and the new ones look a size smaller, unless Joe grew a foot taller. If we're comparing this to the CX-90, then Mazda wins.

Meh... Buick is highly reliable these days as well. Also if you option them similarly, you'd be paying quite a bit more for a Lexus TX. This Buick is around $48k. Even the base Lexus TX starts at $55k. The "Sport" TX starts at $69k. So it's kind of apples and oranges. It's closer in price to a Toyota Highlander, you know?
