And while I haven't test driven a 2025 Camry, the Lexus is absolutely significantly quieter and drives like a TANK. The adaptive suspension works really well too. My personal favorites have been the much upgraded ML audio and the triple beam headlights that blow my mind away every time I drive at night... they work so well. Thank goodness Lexus put a spoiler on it so they won't become air born on the highway. I guess I would take the V6 and Lexus dealership treatment. That said I would wait for the 25 or look elsewhere.

Lexus is going through a weird phase where all their cars are years behind in the tech area. All I wanted is my is 500 to have current tech or close.

Engineering background here I own a 2020 Camry XLe but I’m looking to purchase a 2025 ES 350 F sport what I wanna ask is is it worth a couple thousand dollars in price difference between the E350 and F sport? Do you feel like it’s sportier to drive and also why is it Lexus cannot put all wheel drive in their ES but Toyota has it in the Toyota Camry?

Not the fairest comparison because the new Camry is hybrid only and the ES350 F Sport still has a V6; People will still buy the Camry not just because it's cheaper but also because of fuel efficiency. A better comparison would be a ES Hybrid

Sure Raitis. That is a true car. Six cylinders sedan, naturally aspirated engine, no turbos, no SUV, no electric. I don’t care about the mistakenly called “technology”. The mistakenly called “technology is complete unreliable. Always the solution is “remove the cable from the outlet and plug it in again”. Because of that mistakenly called “technology” we are paying more for cars. Good job Raitis.

I had 2019 V6 camry I never got better than 26 to 28 mpg highway, I traded it for R4P same power but SUV is faster, even R4P on highway gets at worst 34mpg

I own this vehicle and it drives and handles fantastic. The Lexus sales/service experience is far superior to Toyota. I have all of the options on mine. This screen is a joke. The 12.3 makes all the difference. If you want a Hybrid the ES 300h gets 43/44

As an ES owner myself (love it), this video was hard to watch. I literally shopped for years for my car and they're actually difficult to find cars this unequipped on the F Sport trim. Most of them come fully loaded nowadays.

What I will Never understand is the Lexus strategy: Brake discs size of a coffee coaster
@JessicaHauserman3 ай бұрын
This might be the F Sport trim, but it's not exactly a sporty car. Most people aren't going to be doing the kind of driving in this car that would require bigger brakes. It would have been nice had they done that on the F Sport though, the adaptive suspension works pretty well and would have paired nicely with bigger front brakes.
@DomsCryptoYT3 ай бұрын
@@JessicaHauserman I can see your point. However brakes never can be big/strong enough

I went with a 2025 Camry XSE mostly for the mileage, but also Lexus dealers were low balling me on my trade. I literally got 10x more for my trade at a Toyota dealer.
@tonysterbenc2 ай бұрын
"Literally" 10x more? Like, thirty thousand for your trade instead of three thousand dollars? I question that.

@@tonysterbenc Yes. Lexus offered me $600 more than I owed on the trade. Toyota $6k.

@@extremepcs2807 That doesn't mean they offered you 10 times as much for the car. It just means the amount offered exceeded YOUR DEBT by 10x. Not the same thing.

Personal opinion: If you want a Lexus and like sporty, get an IS. If you want a Lexus and like plush, get an ES 350 Premium Package or Luxury. The ES F Sport's problem is that it is neither here nor there.

I would definitely take the ES over the Camry any day of the week. I had the XSE Camry and as soon as I purchased a Lexus, I noticed the difference. The Camry’s quality of drive, the interior feel of the seats and handle of the car all feels cheaper. You can tell that it’s definitely not a luxury car. The biggest selling point for me is how you are treated in a Lexus dealership in comparison to a Toyota dealership when servicing your car. Literally a landslide difference 😂. I’d never own a Toyota again after being in a Lexus.
