Hi Luky, that is a totally valid concern. Indonesia is actually working on putting policy in place to ensure this does not happen. For instance, large cruise ships are not allowed to dock in Raja Ampat. This will help keep it protected from massive tourism and the waste that comes with it. Also, education for visitors is crucial so they will learn how to love and respect these pristine places. We work with tour operators who are doing great work with local communities and tourists to ensure they minimize negative environmental impacts and positively supports the local economy. For example, the tour operator SeaTrek Sailing Adventures (who we worked with on this film) is doing beach cleanups with their travelers, reducing the use of plastics, and more. Indonesia dari sabang sampai marauke berjajar pulau pulau. Dari situ aja udah bisa di bandingakan dgn negara negara lain. Tiap pulau di indonesia berañeka ragam ke indahannya dan sangat menakjubkan. Selama ini Yg sering di sorot media mungkin Bali. Dan baru beberapa tahun ini Raja Ampat mulai di terpublikasi. Sebenernya masih banyak di tiap pulau yg blm tersentuh ke asrian alamnya. Dan thn yg lalu Dunia Trevel menobatkan Hotel yg ada di sumba itu, hotel TerIndah, tebaik dan termewah fasilitas di Dunia. dgn pemandangannya berhadapan ke pantai yg sangat Menakjubkan. Pantai NihiWatu dan Nama Hotelnya Juga Nihiwatu Sumba NTT. Dan Masih Banyak Ke Indahan yg menakjubkan di Pulau pulau lain di indonesia. Indonesia itu Bener bener Surga Dunia.

Benar sekali. Bahkan makin ketimur...pulau pulau indonesia semakin CANTIK (Bahkan lebih alami...labuan bajo dan pulau komodo , sumba - sumbawa, flores, maluku dan papua). Memang kepulauan indonesia seperti serpihan syurga yang jatuh ke bumi.

Yah aing cuman sekali travel ke pulau2 kecil naik boat kecil rakitan (luas pulau sekitaran 1 - 100 km persegi) yg skitarnya bnyk pulau rawa (gk dihuni manusia). tp daerah tepiannya asli bnyk sampah ampe warna airnya ijo. Coba klo daeahnya ijo nan bersih asik liatnya

Honestly, I feel that this place should not be opened to visitors. It was an island that just recovered its ecosystem because it was left untouched. Now it is being sold to tourism. Even if it is being looked after, it still cannot be protected by what man can do. Tourism will damage the island like it did to many other.

It only for rich tourism. Diving is expensive, but it worth every penny, and it brought money to the locals. Our government is very protective to raja ampat. But for diving experience in Indonesia, it was plenty, thousand of dive spot will gave you new look of an awe stretch from west region of indonesia to the east.
