Raja and Kobe have alot of respect for each other and squashed their beef a while ago. One offseason, Kobe tried to recruit Raja to the Lakers when he was a free agent. Raja has said he almost considered it too.

Kobe actually respected them, these guys just respected him back. Kobe recruited Matt Barnes and he directly called Barnes to recruit him, that's the same thing he did to Raja Bell. Kobe recruited Bell in 2010. Kobe had that famous quote "Anyone crazy enough to f*** with me, is crazy enough to play with me."

Bro james and some kids don’t and are 100% focus and know what they want from the get go so un know way shape or form should we let those kids stop the growth of that focus. Go in the team or league where you can find yourself or do multiple things. It goes both ways and we all got to respect it. If a team is about winning with focus nothing else then if you not ready it’s not for you but that team shouldn’t have to change nothing for a bit focus kid. Which is fine because it’s a kid like you said but there are kids who are focus

Kobe's greatest trait people overlook who hate him was his ability to add whatever he wanted to his game. To just decide to get an amazing post game or to be a great defender is a microcosm of his insane accumen for the game because his game was good without those things but those made him greater for longer which is what it takes to be a Top player ever.

Let's be real here. Just because "it's a fact" doesn't mean it's necessary and it doesn't mean it can't be used as an attack. Instead of simply saying "One of our girls is not pictured here, she had a dance recital" adding in the bit about where her focus is gives people the impression that you're taking a jab at her wanting to dance. Especially since there's no intonation, just text to read. People pretend like this doesn't read as a bit of a dig but it very easily can. With that said, I didn't think it was that bad. He didn't have to mention it but I wouldn't have ripped him for it at all. I disagree with adding it in, and maybe i'd concede to just wording it differently, but I didn't find this to be a huge issue.

I was fortunate enough to witness Kobe's career with the Lakers from first day to last. Raja Bell played Kobe tougher than any other player I remember, and I watched nearly every game during that time. I legitimately disliked Raja, but I had a ton of respect for the guy and always secretly wished he played for the Lakers. Every time the Lakers played the Suns, it was "oh no, we have to go up against Raja Bell again". Much respect to Raja Bell then, and now as well.

Kobe nor Raja said anything wrong. I agree with both. As a coach myself I always ask my kids “why do you want to play football” if they say anything that starts with “because my dad...” “because my mom...” “my parents wanted me...” I walk over to that kids parents and tell them myself this sport isn’t for your kid. Kids should play sports because they want to and understand fully what they are getting into not because their parents made them. Those kids don’t miss practice for other sports or activities, those kids come to practice because they want to.

The key word is committed! I think if you are going to try out or sign on for basketball, there is a level of commitment period because someone else can be in place in your spot. Parents tend to overly baby these kids!

Kobe Bryant has by far the MOST haters in the history of the NBA! No other All-Time great player is as hated and disrespected as Kobe Bryant! FACTS!! The man has over 30,000 career points and 5 NBA Championships, yet a ton of people don't even consider Kobe to be top 10 All-time! THAT'S hate!!

@@rickyqueen2621 Good point!!! ... The Mamba ... I miss him already - kinda wished at first that he would come out of retirement and join forces with #LeBron, but he probably realized #LeBron went to LA for all the wrong reasons.

Guys, #JohnSally just made an unbelievable point today in a VLADTV interview - "Kobe entered the NBA out of high-school to play against Jordan." That's fearless!!!

@Yemi Me too. It's laughable and pathetic to me that some of those same people who hated on Kobe and said he would never win another ring without Shaq try to make excuses for why he won 2 more rings without him instead of giving the man his proper credit. They're a joke.

Kinda like Starks and Jordan. They hated each other on the court but off the court they had major respect for each others passion.
