All so serene and trance-inviting, and the bit starting around 4:30 is truly beautiful. I was stunned

Sounds great! I've heard a lot of these drums and this stands out as one of the better players and sounds captured. Great work! What type of Hanpan are you using? brand? And what do you suggest in key and tonality?
@louisl.fourbirds12295 жыл бұрын
This is an Elf by Mayuko in combination with a disco armonico by Marco della Ratta. There are loads of great instruments by now. Just listen carefully and you'll find the one to start with :) thanks for your kind words also!

@@louisl.fourbirds1229 What do you mean by listen carefully? Like if you buy one in person listen to the sound and find one you gravitate towards?
@louisl.fourbirds12294 жыл бұрын
morgan f i mean compare instruments from different makers. There is a huge difference not only in quality but also in the sound. That‘s hard to judge online since recording skills and techniques vary so much, so i‘d always recommend trying in person. Visiting a workshop where different brands are available. That‘s when it will become very obvious. I hope this helps. If not, i can answer in depth to more specific questions :)
