Dr Rajani, have you used the ‘old’ fat dissolving injection that was around before Allergan released DC/Kyabella? It contains DC as well as other substances that promote fat lysis (PPC and caffeine). Asking because I would like to get my very mild sub mental fat dissolved and my clinic sells the ‘old’ fat dissolving injections at a third of the price as kyabella (the dr said the price difference was because the popularity of kyabella).

Hi Dr Rajani, I’ve just had my first treatment of kybella and I had two vials. I’m very red the following morning. Is this normal because it almost looks like I’m burnt. The swelling is amazing just like a bullfrog 🤗

I had used kabelline at home and had no results. I then had 2 treatments of kybella using 2 vials each time and it absolutely worked. I am debating if I should get kybella again or RF microneedling because I want to target my neck and jowls. The place I went to don't use kybella off label and use the grid that only targets the under chin submental fat. If RF microneedling doesn't work I think I may just get a neck lift.

I have. Research what you are getting. Review PlasmaSculpt and PlasmaGlo. Lifting the face lifts the jaw, then the jawline is directly treated. This is quite standard with experienced injectors.

I got charged 2,500 600 per vial, total of 5 vials, 2 treatments and a total waste of money because its been 8 months since and my double chin is bigger and more noticeable than it looked before kybella. I regret it because it left me worse than before. Before kybella u couldn't tell unkess i moved my head down u would see it a tiny bit and now after kybella its permanently swollen and noticeable ecen if im looking up..so biggest mistake.

RM Cyborg 83 sorry about your experience. It is important to view actual before snd afters. Very unusual to get larger unless there is weight gain. In the trials most people had 4-6 treatments sessions and 15 plus vials. It is an expensive treatment no doubt. Some people opt for surgery instead. thats crazy. so many vials and each lets say 500$ so how much u have to spend to get any visible results like 5k. And 5k after u still have double chin. Not worth it. Better to have an operation with much better results.

lunaticatiga it is a quick add on procedure with no surgery. If there is quite a bit of fat and people are open to surgery then surgery is a great option. The millenials coming in typically just need a little sculpting so it works well for them also.
