Recently had my second treatment of Kybella on Monday. I found that within the first treatment swelling lasted for 3 weeks. I saw the before and after before my first treatment and after 4 weeks and it has helped dissolve some of the fat under my chin and also made it more taught and less bloated looking. I'm excited for the results after 4 weeks from my second treatment. I may not need a third injection. I'm 28 120 lbs slim figure but i store fat under my chin and stomach. I have a very round face so I wanted to slim it down, with botox in my masesster muscles which has helped me from over clenching my jaws had filler in my chin which i needed 2 touch ups after the first as I was left with dimple that would not go away. But overall my face is starting to get that V shape and I'm loving the results.

Jowls are my genetic gift from my mom and grandma. We're talking Bassett hound jowls. We have fat cheeks that then sag with age. I have had my buccal fat removed. I was the PERFECT candidate. the fat projected forward around my mouth. I often see people wanting buccal fat removal done and I'm like, huh? What fat? I had my pre-jowl filled. Maybe .3 mils per side. Korean fat dissolve mixed with DC in jowls. Mono PDO threads criss crossing the area Tox in DAOs This is the multi-product treatment approach treatment you talk about. Omgosh if only I could have watched this video before getting Kybella! I have always been in a healthy weight range but unfortunately had stubborn under chin fat that would not budge. Went for a consult and was told I would probably only need 1, maybe 2 treatments. Ended up having 3 altogether and the problem was still not fixed. It definitely got rid of some of the fat but now I’m left with some saggy skin under the chin. Provider recommended HIFU so I tried that a couple of months ago but yet to see any noticeable results. A lot of money spent (nearly 4 grand wow when I think about it that’s crazy) and still haven’t achieved great results.. I LOVE your videos Dr Rajani I only wish I could find a Dr like you!! So far I don’t notice anything, but I watched your video explaining how long to wait for results after the last treatment (2-4 months and up to 6). After one year I wanted to have a second belkyra around my jawline since the chin was significantly reduced I wanted to improve the jawline/jowl aspect. So this time I was surprised since I have noticed the product colour was yellow not transparent like the first time… the result now after one year of the 2nd injection is very bad … it looks like the fat is stuck in my jowl the look is bigger than before … I don’t know what to, I don’t know what product the doctor injected me ,what can be the solution? Hi, I see a PC/DC concentration of 100 mg/ 42 mg from a compounding pharmacy. This is different from the usual dose of 50/42 mg/ml. Have you used different concentration before? Does it give different patient experience? I found a few studies using that concentration. The compounding pharmacy said they get about equal order volume from providers.

I’ve had it done several times over the past 10 years?. The first time it was not under the name Kybella, had terrible pain and swelling that lasted a month. A few years later I had it done under Kybella with a different injector and had very little pain and only slight swelling for a week. Each time I only had 1 treatment and it seemed to be enough. I have it done in the winter so I can easily wrap a winter scarf around it while swelling goes down. 😉

I had liposuction on my stomach 20 yrs ago. It was terrible and ugly.. My stomach had lumps/ ripples of fat. My left side is much bigger then my right side.. There are places where it dips in, it's weird becauseit feels like that area is attached to the muscle or something. You can't pinch it like the rest of the skin.... needless to say I have not been in a swimming suit since then. Heck, I can't even wear a t-shirt that's fitted. 😞 Anyway about 10 years ago a doctor helped me out by injecting the lipo dissolve stuff into my stomach. I don't think it was Kybella. It wasn't expensive, only about $150 per session. I had it done multiple times and it helped quit a bit. My stomach still has a lot of lumps and is still malformed but not nearly as bad.. Honestly I would love to have my stomach fixed and do it some more but that stuff made me so sick! I have a high tolerance for pain. I can typically control pain by relaxating and deep breathing. But nausea and vomiting? No. I hate throwing up!! The results were so good I did go back multiple times. But the thought of going back and vomiting more... I can't do it. I just can't. I've decided to live with my stomach the way it is. That being said, I would recommend it. I don't know why I became so sick everytime I had it done. Maybe it was because it was such a large surface area? Under the chin is a lot less! Yes there is redness and swelling. It'll feel warm to the touch for a few days. I would recommend planning ahead, Get all your shopping done,, have a nice stack of movies, and do it over a long weekend. I've never had any regrets having it done. I'm honestly very grateful to the doctor that did it. To be honest, I was so grateful I dont think I ever told him that it was making me so sick. I didn't want to complain. Kinda dumb come to think of it! Maybe he could have prescribed something for the nausea. 🤷‍♀️

I had a consult with a local clinic and the doc said that I wouldn't be a good candidate because I have laxity and a lack of volume in my cheek area, and that the volume loss in the prejowl/jawline area would make that look worse. I do know that my skin has some laxity (not sag) and that I pretty much don't have that lower cheek fullness at all (in the area beside the nose and above the prejowl - there's a depression there if viewed at a 3/4 profile). And I would like to make that area a bit fuller in the future with some fat transfer. But I still don't like that fat below that area, it makes that depressed midface area that's just above it look worse. He talked about how in the future I'm only going to loose more volume. But I don't care about loosing volume in jowl area, right? He suggested thermage, threads, and filler instead. Those might help with tightening and fullness, but none address slimming the jaw/lower face. I'm 33, 5' 2'', 125 lbs. Should I get a second opinion?

I will be getting more aqualyx over my body now I know how effective it is. Don't be put off by the results or discomfort of the first session, for me the discomfort was far less second time around and results much greater. I now look much slimmer in the face and I'm really happy with the results. I would highly recommend it.

It is simply DC. Like kybella. There are some studies on this. I would not do it. The Brazilians did it in early 2000’s as I recall. There were some unacceptable side effects

@@RK-su4hs yes I’m 23 (and Eastern European & Mexican with a lower face similar to Gigi Hadid with the cheeks, jowls, and under chin area) and I had 3 vials done the first session, waited 4 weeks had 2 more vials done, then I waited 4 more weeks and had the last vial done. It’s been about 4 months since that last vial and am still seeing improvements from 3 months ago (the month after that last vial). Sorry I hope that this wasn’t confusing. I really love the results, the only thing is that it was pricy for all 6 vials. The first 3 I got a discount because I purchased all 3 at once, then I was told that I would only need 1 or 2 more, so I purchased the 2 at normal price. When I came back for the final consultation I had told my doctor that my left side still had more fat then my right, so I had to buy the last vial for normal price to put in my left side. The left side is still a tad bigger but I’m the only one who can see it, my fiancé and family say that they can’t tell. Overall I’m really happy with the results, I just wish that i had a more even application as I believe some product was wasted on my right side, and not enough was given on my left. She applied it while mostly standing at my right side, and went to my left near the end (I think she didn’t have enough in the syringes left over). I’m sorry if this is confusing, let me know if you have any other questions.

I had something like this done back in 2012 called Lipo-Dissolve (I'm in Australia) and they used the grid thing, and oh my GOD, it was HORRIBLE! There were so many injections of fluid in my chin, my skin was ridiculously itchy due to the major stretching from the swelling (I had two anti-inflammatory pills first), and I literally looked like an enormous toad! Like I had NO neck or chin, and just swollen flab! I had to wear a scarf in Summer to hide the swelling! After about 10 days, I finally looked ALMOST normal, but I looked WORSE than I did before! My multi-chins were bigger, and even after six months, I still looked bigger. Ugh. I didn't return for more treatments. I got lipo two years later. Much better! In and out in 90 minutes. Awake the whole time. 😁

@@minkycat66 Yep, I got a bit of lipo in the pre-jowl area, lower face and the double chin area. There was hardly any swelling at all (I could see a HUGE difference right away), and while there was some bruising on my lower cheeks and going down my jawline and onto my neck, it was only faint, like the pale brown / yellow kind, and only lasted about a week. The only reason the bruising went down my neck was because I wore my compression garment and the bruising had to go somewhere! It was an extremely easy procedure. I should've done it years earlier!

@@ysaaann1236 hey there... U can try it.. I've been talking w a few doctors in Madrid and all agreeded that if u want to lose fat (it doesn't matter from witch body part) u need to lose weight. These sorts of injections 2 lose weight are quick fix and the results are bearly seen. I've been into stuff for years and based 2 my own experience the only one that works is.. Eating healthy, doing exercises... Try massaging the area is cheaper and u may like the results.. Since it ll cost u nothing. Hope that helps, are just my thoughts. 🙏
