I don’t have words to explain how underrated Indian history is, they had the technology 4000 years ago which the British and Europeans took credit for 100 years ago.
@indrajitgupta32804 жыл бұрын
We had the technology and let it slip. The British and the Europeans, even the Egyptians and the Akkadians, had the technology and kept it and sent it on through the ages. There was a gap of hundreds of years between the urban culture of the Indus Civilisation, that probably ceased to function in viable city form around 1300 BC and the so-called 'second wave' of urbanisation, that dated to perhaps 900 or 800 BC, about 400 to 500 years later. This second impulse had completely lost everything that was found in the Indus Civilisation (that is an exaggeration, but explaining what might have been transmitted from the one to the other will need to be very elaborate.).

@indrajitgupta32804 жыл бұрын
@@luizgoerck_ Ah, I see that you have read Mortimer Wheeler. That line of reasoning has been under increasingly sceptical scrutiny since the early twentieth century. It is no longer thought that the Indus Valley cities were attacked by hostile hordes of central Asian herders and horsemen and sacked, as the European supervisors of the archaeological services that uncovered Mohenjodaro and Harappa had been taught about their own experiences with the mass migration of the Germanic tribes. The actual discoverers had no such illusions. The latest dating exercises - too many details here - show that the Indus Valley Civilisation may have died out around 3300 BC, whereas the immigrant Aryan speaking central Asians may have come in around 1500 BC, extreme case 2000 BC. There may have been no overlap at all, certainly none of that 'pura'-capture, sack and burning depicted so vividly in the Rg Veda. It might have amounted to no more than the immigrants encountering some down-at-heel villagers in the north-west of India/south Asia, building pottery that showed the influence of late-period Indus Valley Civilisation styles. So, long answer short, there was no conquest, no destruction of the older culture, and only vestigial remains showing any strife or conflict. Wind and water played full parts, with the gradually abandoned cities covered through 1,500 years with layers after layers of wind-blown silt from the Indus river banks and from exposed parts of the riverbed during tel,call.

This video is long overdue and it's time we put all of our knowledge and resources to deciphering this mysterious and beautiful script. It was refreshing that Rajesh Rao did not launch into India vs. Pakistan polemics and discussed only the language. Indian or Pakistani, this is our common heritage and at least on this point we should be working together. Also, my dadaji spoke Brahui, the northernmost extant Dravidian language, and it makes perfect sense to me that the language of the Indus Valley was also Dravidian. Like it says on every Indian coin I've ever seen, "satyameva jayate", truth alone triumphs. Let's find the truth about our ancestors and realize that whatever our differences now, we are all related. First, thank you for your great work and presentation! I will start immediately at time scale 14:58: You have a symbol plate: 1. The ox is depicted as the largest animal, it shows the first step of transport 2. The ox looks at the ship (foresight, hull, and sail) The ship is smaller because it is the second means of transport in a timeline. 3. The goods delivered are located on the plate above the ox = fish is transported first with oxen (fish with wings = tuna) 4. The three bars above the ox show how many containers the ox pulls. The four dashes next to the fish symbol shows the number of goods. 5. But there is a lot missing: there must be two identical plates, once the receiver and once the giver. Furthermore, there must be an exchange between the dealer a kind of guarantor, symbols or other tiles. In the collection of puzzles, you still lack these symbol plates. 6. If you can, you can help me, here's my Bitcoin address for helping me to master my life and pay all my bills after a long time of illness. Thank you, Bobby :) BTC: 1FDBgfRWyqfP55KXcvJmszMTULNbE4k7bR

Recent findings : Indus script relation with Dravidian languages: 1) Ancient Near East of middle-third-millennium to early-second-millennium BC had no native elephants. The Syrian elephants of 1700 BC were also arguably imported from Indus Valley Civilization. Archaeological evidence confirmed that Mesopotamian people imported ivory from only IVC, and the Persian Gulf traders had functioned as intermediaries in the thriving trade between IVC and Mesopotamia. Interestingly, in the current Dravidian languages of south India, elephants are referred to as ‘pilu’ in Kannada, ‘pilluvam’ in Tamil and ‘piliru’ in Telugu. Linguists say that ‘pilu’ entered classical Sanskrit very late, as a borrowed word.Since ancient Iranian languages did not use the sound ‘l’, they change the ‘l’s of foreign word to ‘r’s. Thus ‘pilu’ became ‘piru’, just the way ‘Babilu’ (Babylon) became ‘Babiru’, and the Mesopotamians adapted the same. 2) Finnish Indologist and Indus script expert Asko Parola also feels that the Dravidian(Tamil) words such as ‘mukham’ (face, front, mouth), ‘khalam’ (threshing floor), ‘phalam’ (fruit) and ‘kundam’ (pit) are found in the Rigvedic Indo-Aryan texts which was composed 1500BCE Tamil god “Muruku” (baby boy), according to Parpola, is a hunter god of the hill forests. Muruku, the god of love and fertility, was worshipped with frenzy dances and flesh and blood of a ram or goat. In 300 CE, the god amalgamated with Skanda of north India. “The pictorial and rebus meaning of fish in Dravidian means ‘miin’ and ‘miin’ also means star. I think they both possibly come from ‘min’ which means ‘to glitter’,” 3) In 2019, excavations carried out in the Keezadi site in Tamil Nadu’s Sivagangai district revealed graffiti dating back to 580 BC. The graffiti has been deemed to bear a distinct resemblance to the Indus script.Not just Keezadi, graffiti marks similar to the Indus script were recently discovered onpotsherds excavated from a site in Mariyapuram, Uthirakosamangai which falls in the Ramanathapuram district of tamilnadu 4) In 2017, Indus script expert Iravatham Mahadevan observed in a report that the Tamil sport of Jallikattu was depicted in an Indus seal found in Mohenjodaro (present-day Pakistan) in what he interpreted as a link between Dravidian and Indus cultures. In 2018, symbolist TL Subhash Chandra Bose wrote in his book ‘Ancient Tamizh - The Faculty of Harappan Symbols and Scripts’ that another seal foud in Bannavali referred to the sport of Sallikattu in language similar to that found on a Sangam era stone slab preserved in the Salem Archaeological Museum. All evidence and research therefore points to India being the world’s largest, if not first, melting pot, with both the genetic pool and the languages and culture resulting from a blend of Indo-Aryans over time with preexisting indigenous Dravidian population.

If one Ieaves aside the political need to prove the Aryan invasion theory, it's simple. Going by the time period of the artefacts , it is the same period and geography when many of the Veda-Vedagas were composed. It's obvious that the Indus / Sindhu /Hindu people composed the Vedas (in Vedic Sanskrit) right from the geography and astronomy mentioned in the Vedas . The Indus script is very similar to Brahmi, which later gave rise to Devanagari , Tamil etc.

The direction is left to right. Its a stamp seal as you said. Stamp seals are always maid in mirrored direction, so when you stamp using clay the text will appear in the correct direction. I'll use the image of the animal than the symbols. Any image of an animal while being drawn will most likely start from the head than the tail. So when you stamp it the head will appear facing left and tail towards to right. The writing direction is left to right.

At 14:50, that stamp seems obvious to me. The Pleiades aren't the "six sisters". From ancient times, The Pleiades were known as "the Seven Sisters". So if that symbol to the left is suspected of meaning "star", followed by 7 slashes, that would prob = The Pleiades. Furthermore, the Pleiades are in the constellation of Taurus the Bull, and it looks like the main symbol on the stamp is a bull. Mystery solved. You're welcome.

7:10 I have an idea. There are more ways of orienting sequences than simply right-to-left or left-to-right. For example some indigionous groups, when given a set of pictures describing event and asked to put them in the order they happened in, put the earliest upstream according to the nearest river (or uphill for different groups) and the latest downstream or downhill. Maybe the only reason that the text is right-to-left on that seal is in relation to the figure on it; maybe it goes head-to-tail of the animal depicted on it. In other contexts there may be other determiners or maybe a default right-to-left or left-to-right direction. Who knows

I am a tamilan from malaysia.. my ancestors were all tamil labourers brought by the british government.. here i would like to link the importance of water which is wholesomely emphasised in the tamilan culture.. Firstly, we shall look at origins of civilisation and harappa civilisation from the lost river of saraswathy.. their whole civilisation emphasise was on water, drainage and sewage system.. every archaeological sites have aqueducts system in harappa civilisation.. So if we come back to origin of tamil civilisation in south india which highly likely to be linked with the lost harappa civilisation from the lost river of saraswathy is because our tamil culture has already impacted importance towards dewi Saraswathy whom is worshiped as the god of knowledge/wisdom.. wisdom and lots of knowledge is already attained during harappa civilisation where they were never bothered about hierarchy, kings, Gods, pyramids, zigurats, weapons or war.. they were more concerned of living a good spiritual life with importance on nature, fertility, society and self well being.. that shows how civilised the harappa were even during those days.. in today's world if we generalise western and eastern culture.. likely western culture was from mesopotamian and egypt civilisation while eastern culture is from indus/harappa civilisation which was perpetuated unknowingly by the south indian tamilans to the east/asia.. So coming back to water.. thiruvalluvar in thirukullar which is an oldest form of tamil literature written 2000 years ago has emphasised on the importance of rain and water in one whole chapter pertaining to it.. even tamil citizens today has a common culture of washing our legs prior to entering our houses.. even this particular culture could be linked to harappa civilisation where water and hygiene were given importance As latest research on indus hieroglyphs linking to spoken tamil to indus symbols will be the biggest breakthrough ever which will make spoken tamil the oldest language in the world and still spoken till today..northern indians are the aryans or outsiders of indias whom originated from Mesopotamian civilisation and ended up at north india.. they came up with vedic system and caste system to divide and rule north india by claiming themselves as brahmin of the highest rank.. the southern indians were able to resist this at a point where souther tamilans lived together with christian and muslim tamilans together in south india with no any issues.. this is even highlighted in thirukural So it all comes back to the type of civilisation and ppl whom are shaped thru such civilisation and from history itself we cud see that harappa civilisation were truly more spiritual, less mystical and were finding for more logics and questions and eventually found lots of life answers.. even opening of third eye cud be initiated in harappa civilisation during proto-sivan era.. so basically everything seems to link somehow and i hope tamilans will be given the full recognition soon as indus hieroglyphs gets decoded.

That Dravidian language is Tamil. Those words he found from 7 lines and fish : in Tamil 7- 'Elu' fish -'meen' The fishes scripted here were same like the symbol of Pandyan empire ( one of three of ancient Tamil kingdom and he was prior to other two). That's why pandyan kingdom had fish as their flag and emblem. And the bull script depicts the ancient game 'bull taming' which now exists only in Tamil nadu in the name "Jallikattu" which Tamils fought against govt of India, when they banned the game and successfully removed that ban by striking out on the roads for nearly 10 days. Very soon scientist will prove Indus valley is ancient Dravidian ( purely Tamil (proto Tamil)) civilization.
