What Krishna said is not correct these days. So many girls other than from brahmin community learnt Bharathanatyam and came up in life. It is shear hard work and Guru bhakthi alone that will take he or she to a higher level. What krishna said is an exception.

T.M.Krishna did a great job in his first book 'Karnatik Story' and I definitely intend to read 'Sebastian & Sons' as well. Disagreements about the caste angle or anti-brahmin theme should not dilute the respect that should be given mridangam makers that's long overdue. Also, we used to address all elders regardless of social status/caste 'Neenga' so generalizing that or giving it a caste context because he did it weakens the other important points he makes.

TMK is awesome, the way he thinks and sees things are entirely different and much needed for our society. But big suggestion to the interviewer, let people answer to the questions. Then ask next question or question from his answer. Interrupting too much is not fair and the message will not convey properly. You are interrupting too much and stopping the flow.

Ur observations in Sebastian and sons is great but ur desire for a casteless society I appreciate But ur thinking and way of bringing about change is too ameutersh.
