Very valid point Rajiv , today's younger generation does't want to slog in the IT offices. Their parents have made all the money , provided with houses, cars , education. Todays new generation is looking to start a new company, a new idea a better life. The person in the blazer in the video is from an older generation and still thinking about retaining employees using some signing bonds for 3 yrs. that wont work any more. It worked in 91 - 2015 . But now no more.

This is being addressed my most big mnc nowadays especially after COVID like work flexibility- work from anywhere, or option to work 4 days a week at 80% of the salary. Also digital trainings are made available and flexibility to switch roles within organization which could offer better learning or growth. The days of la la culture forcing employees is gone now

No company is bad, it's all about under whom we are associated. Because, some bosses try to miss use their administrative power on their subordinates, which is really very bad. That is the reason, most the employees always change their current company.

So true. I've left jobs that offered more money simply because the quality of the work enviromment was much lower than the place that paid me less. I would rather make good pay as long as the work environment and benefits are of higher quality. If I find that same high quality somewhere else that pays more I will jump to that job, but only when the quality matches. It's all about quality. Fire the bad eggs, make better quality workplace for your good egg workers.

I need to know next half of this discussion I understand issue properly but then how to give this quality of life to employees
@RoBoyReviews5 жыл бұрын
It all starts with small things, beeing a god boss, take care of them. Dont try to work after them, they need to come to you, but dont kick them when they get sick, try to build a team rather then some individuals. Offer Teambuilding things, offer bonuses, offer them once or twice a year an opportunity, do something that will keep them busy apart from the normal 9to5 work. For instance, my assistant is taking german lessons, for once because i pay the lessons so its free for her but also because she wants to develope more and speak another language. So you need to see where you can improve to make your business better but also where to help your employees and make them feel one with the company, not "just an employee in a corporation"

This is not true, because, youth in India is not having employment, in the first place. So, the question of social standard etc does not apply to Indian circumstances. Youth is accepting the abusive bosses, even today. What you say may be true only for top 5 percent people who are excellent for the job. Intelligent, Clever, really educated, dedicated, self motivated and having correct attitude. In India, due to educational break down, pampering by near & dears and government, the youth is no more serious while taking education and developing skills needed for developing requirements of industries. This, they come to know much later and accept any job for survival. The jumping of jobs, in majority of cases is due to employees are not capable of carrying out the job. This is due to negligence of candidate during education and other things as mentioned by me earlier.
@nagarajand5 жыл бұрын
Last point is not valid. Whenever they started abuse the knowledge and skills with very low pay then they will left the job. Today everyone is equally qualified doesn't mean boss has knows more. He has better experience that's it

@deveshthakare91833 жыл бұрын
@@Rajiv.Talreja In my opinion, With a bond one can attract only desperate candidates, it's less likely that Cream Layer of the Talent will join. Again it depends on what exactly the company wants from the employee, Just sustaining the firm ..... okay an average employee can do that, but if one wants innovation .. that does not come with bondage.

Completely disagree with this gentleman. I feel this generation is more after money rather than quality of life. In fact earlier generations had better quality of life as were not only chasing money. @vinumnr23392 жыл бұрын
quality of life and money are connected my friend..you need to spend for quality as it doesnt come for free. balance life outside work is also a part of quality of life which is always overlooked as there are employers that make their staff slog and slog and pay them peanuts like the employees are slaves..a sole purpose of existence is not work and work and work until your back is bent and joints are sore, thinking that your children will take care of you..its not guaranteed. this is what a lot of the youth are thinking today. Your comment about earlier generations had better quality of life depends on what you define as quality as thats a whole different age from today and you cant apply the same old formula to todays generation as they wont simply just accept it. THEY ARE NOT SLAVES
