At the site, NO DIFFERENCES IN SOCIAL CLASSES COULD BE DISCERNED and there were NO WEAPONS, TEMPLES, OR RELIGIOUS BUILDINGS. INDUS KUSH - DNA Results - No Asian Steppe land DNA at Rakhigarhi burial site: A team of scientists in Rakhigarhi working on one of the four human skeletons that were sampled for ancient DNA. The single most startling revelation of the Rakhigarhi research may be the "complete absence" of any reference to the genetic marker R1a1, often loosely called 'the 'Aryan gene.' Indus Valley settlers had a distinct genetic lineage.
