Thanks for the reply. We feed it to cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, camels, and other stock. But those first 3 primary. Some feed it to horses and mules too but not all like too. The dairies buy it as a filler for their ration and dry cows and heifers. Ranchers use it for their range cows.

Interesting we planted 15 hectares of a variety hunniggreen here in south Africa and the crop was so thick we had to let it dry for 14days awesome crop thats very drought resistant

We don’t get much rain here normally. It’s very drought tolerant. We normally let it dry 2 to 3 weeks here in the fall. We raise 1,500 acres here and custom harvest more than that for others. It’s a great feed.
