We met your dad in Howth in September 1978 while we were on holiday in Dublin. A friend of your uncle Barney’s said he’d introduce us to your uncle, who invited us to come fishing on his boat. That night we went to local the pub (the Lighthouse?) where Barney’s friends and brother had gathered. After a few drinks someone shouted: “Someone get the instruments” and a spontaneous sing-along followed. We met Barney a couple of times at concerts in The Netherlands later. The concerts were great, but they couldn’t beat that night in Howth.

@@kellydalstok8900 that sounds about right. I spent half my youth in the lighthouse or on the boat 😊 glad ypu enjoyed yourself.
