I love Raleigh. I only visited the city during the day time. I fell inlove with it during Christmas. People truly mind their business. It's not over crowded. And they promote healthy living. However, the coastal town like Wilmington is completely beautiful. The country is beautiful as well. I didn't have problems as a brown Latina.

Although most apartment homes include amenities like in unit washer/dryers and fitness centers, and are in close proximity to grocery stores, I still recommend having a car.

Is Raleigh really boring? I’m hearing that there is absolutely nothing to do? I know there are plenty of restaurants and good food but, what about night life lounges, concerts etc….

Downtown Raleigh (Glenwood) is an amazing time particularly for night life, The Ritz has all types of concerts, this is a college sports town, super diverse, amongst other things. Overall it’s an amazing place to be and it’s worth visiting to see for yourself.

I hear that a lot, I live here and I feel like it’s just like any other mid-sized city. What I feel kind of lacks is day time activities like zoo’s, amusement parks, etc. Other than that I feel nightlife is good and plenty of restaurants, shopping and museums.
