Just tried my first springbank this weekend. The 15 year old, just a wee dram, but what an absolute wonderfull whisky it was. Think i will by myself a 10 year old for Christmas, if only i can find one. 😄 Congrats with the 1000th episode, has learned so much from you during the years. 👍

After sipping my first sip of the 10 and 15, it encouraged and got me excited to seek and explore more scotch’s. Iconic distillery that’s a gateway to losing a lot of your money, but experiencing some of the finest drams. Thanks Ralfy!

The main black mark I have against Springbank is that it is too often either unattainable or sold over the mark where I am in the US. This could be the blame of the stores, the suppliers, whoever… but at the end of the day all it means is it’s as hard to get for me as most other “collectors” brands. Which is sad. Hopefully Springbank can get a hand up on their US distribution one day to make it more freely available across the states.

It's actually not expensive if bought from the distillery or retail shops. Only gets expensive at auction.
