Rally In The Beaver Valley. Fruitvale BC 2023

The forest fires and smoke didn’t put a damper on this biker camp out! Last rally of the year for me and wow, was is it ever a good topper to this summer 😎 with a show n Shine, bike games, people games and live music, it was just an all around great time with even greater people!! Such a warm and welcoming environment where no matter who you know, or don’t know, you just never end up feeling like a stranger 😊
It’s just one big happy biker family enjoying their time together and making the best of it!
Thank you to Rob and Vera for the personal invitation, and a big thank you to all the organizers for putting this on, you guys rock!

Before the brand clubs, Pick-up rides were ride what ya brung. BSA’s, Triumph’s, Ducati, Harley’s, Kawies. We all rode together. Somewhere along the manufacturer marketing campaigns that changed. Good to see all types of bikes at the show. Thanks for making this video.

Small gatherings are definitely the way I like it. I don't like large crowds with lots of traffic. Big major bike rallies are such a hassle. Slow moving and stop and go traffic makes for some miserable riding. I will leave camping to the younger crowd. I don't much care for sleeping on the ground. Plus I'm to old for it. Heck if I were to sleep one night like that, I'd probably not be able to even stand up in the morning. Thumbs up on wearing earplugs! Loved the video and campout! Ride and stay safe up in your beautiful B.C.!

The Harley Rendezvous is a great rally if you're near upstate NY. Real good times and no BS trouble that the larger rallys usually have. I rode NY to Sturgis a few times years ago, and Chillicothe, Laughlin and Laconia, but now I ride alone and I'd rather stay closer to home and not deal with the giant crowds and traffic like you mentioned. And I see more and more people trailering their bikes every year, I can't, the trip there is half the fun. I bought an inflatable sleep mat from Amazon and it's great for tent camping, tough as nails and blows up quick even for a pack a day smoker like me, lol.

Angel I have been riding motorcycles for over 55 years and want you to know. I truly enjoy all of your videos of the camp grounds. The things that you do and I especially like the length of your videos. It is very enjoyable to sit down for an extended period of time. And watch somebody live out your dreams. Wow! When sponsors start queueing up to pay for your expenses, it is reasonable to argue that you have reached the elites! Congratuations are definitely in order. Happily, I extend mine to you! And, ol' Johnny is looking really sharp! At the risk of being a nuisance, I would advise starting the Dyna and allowing an Evo engine to warm up while donning your riding gear; it will thank you for not taking short-cuts! Loved the video, Angel!

That's a rally I'd put at the top of my must do list. Great vibe like you said, small and mellow. I saw a couple bikes I really liked, springers always get my attention. I could see Johnny setup with your windscreen, a little deeper seat and backrest also a twisted chromed square bar Indian Larry style sissy bar with a A for Angel and a little halo .❤😊

This used to be one of my favourite rallies when it was being organized by Ian. I have not been back since the new organizers took over. I might go back if they paid for my weekend but highly unlikely I’d go back on my own dime. Now if you’re interested in a great biker weekend in south eastern BC, one that I attend every year on my own dime, check out the Riders Ranch Pig Roast on the August long weekend, just a little east of Creston in the village of Kitchener. Kirk and Cindy host a really good weekend with live music , an awesome saloon and incredible food. You might have met Cindy at the Beaver Valley Rally because I saw her in the background when you were touring the grounds. Kirk and Cindy are two of my best friends and you will not regret attending their signature event.

My law of long-distance motorcycle rides: always take warm clothes, clean socks and underpants, as the army taught me - my feet should always be dry and warm. And I always take two foam mats with me (a short one for the ass and a long one to lie on it.) Take care of your health, especially the kidneys, do not catch a cold, women's health is above all.
