I understand Ralphie was 45 when he passed on. That's pretty good when he evidently weighed as much as 800 lbs. at one point in his life. He was married with two children I believe. He lived much longer than many other entertainers and male comedians in particular. Well done Ralphie May. You left this world a better place than when you came here. May you Rest in Peace.

The press are such assholes they claimed he had PTSD from having a cold basically the other day which was such BS... In the past he has talked about having it from being Sexual Abused/Molested as a kid & from having a very very serve car accident where I think the other driver was at fault that almost killed him to the point he was laid up for a very long time, which started his a large part of his weight gain/food problems. The media are such hacks, I really hope Ralphie is ok & can get the lbs down. Love the guy.

I hope people realize what a great funny person the world lost, and just how generous he could be. He use to get pneumonia all the time but always kicked it, but he pushed himself back on the stage too soon. His dr told him late that afternoon that if he went on stage it’d be his last time, but Ralphie was used to hearing that if we’d only known it really would be, we all would’ve done things differently that day.

Knowing he almost died in 2011 from pneumonia should have been a wake up call to go to the hospital when you have symptoms. But once I saw he was trying to sell his house in Nashville and come up with thousands upon thousands of dollars in child support and he had to pay both mortgages, its easy to see he felt the need to make as much money as he could. Very sad situation, I wish he was still with us.
