I have a MS Access database having only one form. There is a total field in that form. The form is coloumnar i.e. one record per sheet. For example, in sheet1, my total field value is 10 and in the second sheet my total is 20. Can i add two separate totals in separate sheets (i.e. 10+20) and add the result in the third sheet total field. Kindly help me.

@@DGFig I was really beginer 1 year ago. Form is just to view data from tabele or query. Tabele is for non calculated data, query id for calculations od mixind data from many tabels... this all the story. After big calculations in query iI'm using creating tabele query to "freeze" results in tabele. Otherwise when You will build more and more calculations I mean query base on query and again other query base on query, in one moment You will see "query is too complicated" error. Now I have 20 000 products in access with data how they are made and It is awesome because Excel can't use so much if if if if. Access can do a lot of calculations. When price of one semiproduct will change I just lunch Requery macro and it is actualizing all products in 5 min. Excel can't co this :)

@@765Fluo Thank you for your answer. You seem to have made very good progress over the year. Congratulations! I see what you mean. I'm creating a database to control some processes and it's working really well. I just wanted to allow users to type in the duration of a certain process in hours and minutes (two separate fields), and a third field would convert that to decimal hours and send that to the table. I ended up adding the hours and minutes fields to the table as they are typed in, and doing the conversion in the queries.
