Man if the ford and GM guys ever saw what Ram/Cumins exhaust and engine brakes really felt like they would never go back. I chose two trucks for my machine shop, best Japanese truck and best American truck. My 2019 Titan XD for the small gooseneck and my 2020 Ram 3500 for the higher tows. Honestly both great trucks but the rams low speed take off is amazing. But the comfort of not having to apply foot breaks just to coast to a red light amazes me every time. My Ram will stop a 14k load on exhaust and engine brake alone..

My fathers 2003 ram 3500 dually he has had since new it has 300,000 miles and it can still haul a semi on a trailer! A cummins cannot be beat

Back the loaders on so you don't have the counterweight behind the trailer axles, which is likely why you noticed the rear break loose going down that decline.
