I’m trying to do this exact build kinda I wanna have my intake not as close to my headers, I want full 3 inch true dual exhaust, colder thermostat, a ported 6.4 intake, and RIPP coils but eventually I would want a little bit bigger cam and when they would do that I would want my heads taken off and thinner gaskets for more compression and head studs

Yea, I need to adjust this intake another way next time I see my client. All the money you will spend on all those mods, that’s already as much as a brand new 392 HEMI long block from the dealership. I always say this to people who any to cam their engine, 392 swap is 1-2k more expensive and it makes WAY more power.

As long as the intake is under the engine bay, you’re sucking in hot air. No way around it unless you have Ram Air like the Shaker or the TRX.

@@hemihustlersthis is not true at all. An S&B intake is inclosed and pulls air from the fender and grill just like the stock air box. Idling, sure you can say it’s pulling the same air but at speed you’re definitely pulling way cooler air than what you have there.

Is that your stock 5.7 front engine cover or did you have to change that? Cuz I don't see your ac comp.. I got the stage 3comp cam but trying to swap eagle head on my 03 jst trying to figure out what front engine cover wit swap eazy

This is the stock 5.7 RAM timing cover. The A/C Comp on 99% of Hemi platforms will be on the lower drivers side of the engine. Tbh, I would just swap the entire engine lol. The pre Eagle Hemi platform 5.7 SUCKS!

@@hemihustlerspre eagle hemis do not suck lol there just very restrictive the heads suck & the intake manifold if he does eagle heads and puts a better intake manifold it will make as much power as a eagle hemi if not more especially cause the compression bump

I wouldn’t consider a bigger fuel pump and bigger injectors a “fuel system” lol A fuel system to me is more than one fuel pump, custom fuel lines, fuel rails, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure gauge, linear power modules, switches etc. I would say anything that increases horsepower is worth it.

I’m pretty sure you can put a bone stock Ram 5.7, 8 speed auto, 2wd on the dyno and it’ll make LESS than this Ram here. Remember we are measuring REAR WHEEL HORSE POWER which is LESS than the horsepower produced at the crank due to drivetrain loss.

bone stock they put around 300-320 to the wheel. 395 is stock at the CRANK

Key word “good day” this was not a good day lol. Ambient temperatures were 110+ so she’s not making the power she should be. Dyno this truck on a cold winter morning with low humidity and low DA, she’ll pick up 20 HP easy.

When they tune your truck, they can adjust your rev limit. Need to tune the output shaft speed.

This truck has 1 3/4 Kooks long tube headers with catless Y pipe and no exhaust after that. Sounds really good. It would sound so sick if it was cammed.

The horsepower being measured here is to the wheels. The horsepower measured from the factory is to the engine. The horsepower being measured to the wheels will always be lower than the horsepower measured at the engine because you lose power in the drivetrain. Such as the transmission, driveshaft, rear end, tires, etc. You’ll lose about 20-25 percent of the horsepower from the engine to the rear tires. A stock Ram would have made waaay less to the wheels.
