RAM ProMaster Rear Speaker Enable & UConnect Engineering Menu

Once you have connected rear speakers to the upfitter connector, you need to enable them in the UConnect Engineering Menu. This "secret" menu provides access to debug information and vehicle options that are not meant to be used by average people. Good thing you're not average!

I tried the procedure on my 2021 roadtrek zion SRT and even once the layout was set to 8 and everything restarted, the speakers still show not coded so it didn't work for me.

For some reason does not work on my 2016 promaster. Any ideas, for one radio is never of like yours is in this video. Tried with media connected instead still no go. Held it for 5 plus seconds 20 times no dice. Turned on and off reset ignition all no go. I'm wondering if some headunits don't have this mode and are simply two chanel?

I might be a bit late but it didn't work for me unless I started on the menu with outside temp, clock, compass, etc (press "More" button first). Once I went to that screen, it worked exactly as in the video.

You can't easily connect a bluetooth sound bar to the factory system. You can connect to the UConnect system from a Bluetooth device like a phone, tablet or laptop.

Nope, just hook the outputs up to any 4-ohm automotive speaker, or to an automotive stereo amplifier like you would any other mobile sound installation.

@@NoahAxon I have the 4 speakers setup--- can I add an amplifier to get a little more bang out of the 4 speakers, if so, can you explain---thanks
