Hey Brad, it’s Ethan. I just wanted to thank you for everything you and your did and taught me and my dad. I can’t wait to get out on the trail again soon! I did want to inform you that you have inspired me to start my own small KZbin channel. (Its called The ZR2 Kid) It’s no where near the quality as yours is but I’m working on it. God bless you all!

I've been off-roading my TRX for a couple years now and just picked up a Wrangler Rubicon as well. The TRX is extremely capable but the issue I have is there are too many trails that are just not wide enough for the TRX and you need something a little bit skinnier to fit through.

He says…it’s an accomplishment! My feelings exactly! Great comparison video, Brad. As always…loved it. Plus it affirms my decision to stick with my WK2 Trailhawk 😊

Awesome video. I am definitely taking the right side of that trail in the Red Beast Wagon as it looks way more fun. Will be down that way after I get my WKO frame mounted rock sliders installed (waiting for mfg and the installation in around 4 weeks). Currently running 37s with a 2” Thuren lift over the factory lift for the PW.

Thanks man! It's just a clearance light strip made by AVS aerocab. Gives it a mean look for sure!

What size lift kit and tire and wheel size are on the rams?
@fullthrottlerick1995 ай бұрын
Tan has 3" lift with 38s. Black has 1.5" lift with 37s.
@gm3353 Жыл бұрын
rams are just too wide fortunately most of these trails can accomodate but back east you can't take that thing through nearly as much as a jeep/taco in the woods
@redbeastadventures9 ай бұрын
Not sure. The Red Beast Wagon gets through some tight spaces so far. Just don’t be afraid of some pinstripes. One big issue is laying it down on its side down a deep mud/rock wall. It’s width goes straight up unlike a Jeep Gladiator. Mine is 84” wide from outside tire to the other side. I have been offroading with different Jeeps some wider than me and others not as wide. The PW will climb like a mountain goat in 4 Low with the front and rear lockers engaged and swaybar disconnected.

Before I even watch this vid I’m going for the JT. I had a Ram 1500 and now have a JT and there is no comparison on technical trails and rock crawling between the two. JT will walk a TRX all day.
@F.P.E.721111 ай бұрын
Trx handled it's own...you do realize they are 2 completely different vehicles right? Take that JT baja and see it get ate up. Drag race - ate up. Comfort and technological advances - destroyed. But hey, you got rock crawling though 😂😂
@TheHitSquadOffroad11 ай бұрын
@dawsonsschittcreek5395 You are 100% correct hence why I said no comparison in technical trails and rock crawling. 😉 When you say technological advances are you referring to the live valve shocks or whatever its called? Now if this was a video of a JT vs TRX drag and baja racing and on road comfort my money is going on the TRX all day. It's pretty simple. Whether the TRX held its on it still will get walked by a JT in the type of trails in this video. Were you offended by what I said or something?

Turn off your front locker and keep your sway bar connected and lets go. You still got toy truck dimensions including half our weight, a solid front axle, and a better crawl ratio but I've got 3.5 Pentastars under my hood so I'll follow you up any trail you'd like to go on 🤩

Or maybe just run both sides of the trail for comparison…
@jeffshockey715 Жыл бұрын
Just watched your video. The name of the trail is not LITTLE DANIEL. It's DICKY BELL. While I did enjoy your video and excellent on the spotting. The RAMS bypassed on the left side while the Gladiator did the right side. NO COMPARISON!! Take them to the entrance to DANIEL and have them do that trail. Don't get me wrong, the rams are ok but it's NOT a Jeep.
@TheRambler-pz1gxАй бұрын
Ummmmm none of that was rock crawling lol. Yeah there was a couple rocks on the trail, but by no means was any of that rock crawling in the slightest.

Of course a heavily modified, lifted, 4x4 truck with huge all terrain wheels and underbody protection will be fine rock crawling...no need for the vid. lol
@Jackal_Blitz8 ай бұрын
Haha, of course, but it's more about the girth of these trucks being troublesome than anything else. It's hard to grasp unless you've seen one in person. You barely fit in most street lanes.
