This is just a demonstration of the physics involved in the price you pay for having an offroad truck. Whatever happened to lining up...and blasting down the track? Easy. No problem. Today, you have to select the right launch mode- You have to adjust the suspension from "Trail" to "Track". You have to put the gearing from "Sport" to "Race". You have to set your seat belts from "Daily" to "Race". You have to fix the Seat comfort from "Soft" to "Firm". The gross vehicle weight alone makes this race completely unfair. The TRX is lifter 4x4 and is a Quad cab. The F150 lowered less drag 2 wheel drive and a regular cab. Transmission's also play a factor the Ford F-150 has a 10 speed automatic transmission were as the Ram Trx has a 8 Speed automatic transmission the 10 speed will win most of the time because the first gear can be much taller and then in 10 gear your in overdrive and with more gears to work with the shift points can be much closer together which means your not losing as much engine RPM's during gear changes in the transmission.

I'm sure the TRX let off just a little at the start. I mean, I can actually see it let off plain as day and then go back on throttle. I know the TRX isn't actually that fast, but it will do 4s 0-60 flat with a possible chance of getting 3.8s if lucky. There is no way that RWD beat the AWD TRX's 0-30, without also being AWD.

Ford can barely fill orders of the Broncos. Deliveries pushed down later 22-23. The R is probably fords way of holding customer from buying trxs at this point. V8s have 2 years left and will be gone. If the R comes out it's been said it will be only 900 units. Good luck getting one and dealer markups on the $30-40k... Expect $150k for a loaded R unit. Most Ford fanboys will remain V6 drivers until electric is the norm. Those wanting production high Hp will need to get TRXs. If supercharging a Ford V8 was all needed to beat the TRX Shelby would have done with that engine already. You add off road capability and big tires,the truck gets heavy. Who wants a single cab F150? You can get a much nicer vehicle that goes faster for that money Hennessey wants for this thing
