For the coffee table candle you could easily do a diy candle by candle wax and some wick and your favourite essential oils.. but if it is still tooo much work you could do a fake moss bowl or something.. just a few suggestions😊

na sis it's from the candles when you burn them..soot attaches to so many surfaces if your burn them a lot.. I stopped burning candles and just use warmers..

Apartments get very dusty! I blamed the air vents in my old apartment but I honestly wasn't sure what it was. I would highly recommend the Dyson air purifier.
