@@god1770 I'm not comparing I'm giving my opinion that I love Anurag more than Karan , I didn't said anything hateful on Karan johar even I think karan is such a good director but his recent movies were not that good that's why and on the other hand Anurag kashyap directed so many good movies like gangs of wasseypur and series like sacred games , I said that because now being a mature person I hate the melodrama of our indian cinema I'm bored of seeing the same stupid love stories that doesn't make any sense. This was shot in 20 DAYS. Saw in an interview of kashyap where he explains how after the disaster of Bombay velvet, he got a budget of 3-3.5 crores only which roughly meant 20 days of shoot for him and his team. And from there he wrote down the script based on no.of scenes needed and how much he could finish in 20 days. Its just amazing how this team can bring such a result in such short time

This one is such a multi-layered movie with a plot that would make you wonder and question about the psyche of the modern world as you creep along, cautiously gauging how you feel about the characters at every step. The best part about the movie is that even though it didn't show a single drop of blood, but still it manages to send shivers down your spine. The reason it has low IMDb ratings is that it was way too dark for the majority of the Indian audiences. It had its own niche of the audience, and also it was widely appreciated by the critics.

This movie is a must watch! It's actually based on a real Raman Raghav who was a serial killer active in the mid 60s. This movie is an updated/revamped version of that serial killer. Hence the "2.0" in the title.

I would say Paresh Rawal is India's Gary Oldman since he can play any sort of character be it comedic, serious ar anything else. Nawazuddin is more Al Pacino style

1980's there was a serial killer on loose in Mumbai named Raman Raghav (iwas 5 years old n my Dad was posted in Mumbai during that period , n he told me this story). this story is adaptation of the same but guys its Anurag Kashyap direction so there will b lot of surprise s acting wise story wise n yes its a black black movie.. Vicky actually locked himself in his apartment all alone for a week with out any modern day entertainment source before saying yes for this role... Coz in actual life he exact opposite of wat he played here in raman raghav2 ... Definitely watch it guys its a great movie.. Don't listen to anyone just go for it.

The first movie I watched from Nawaz bhai is Raees which I loved too much but when I saw Raman Raghav 2.0 I really appreciated Nawazuddin Siddiqqui work and acting. I became one of my fav of this era. To me is a Superstar. Who would say that he will suceed this much being just an extra in few 90´s movies. Raman raghav is a real life story. You can find lot of info thru the internet. His acting in Bombay Talkies is also great. BTW please react to the Sing Bekhuda fro this same movie. Is a great scene/song tht is a MUST WATCH!
