17:00 would like to correct one thing .... sir said that red has greater wavelength so it scatters the most but actually scattering is inversely proportional to wavelength .. so since red has greatest wavelength so it scatters less ... now since it scatters less so it travels long distance and sun at horizon during sunset and sunrise is at greater distance than at noon so at sunset/rise and the colour which will get scattered least and travel more will get to our eyes . Hence red is able to travel more as it has highest wavelength and dont get more scattered and it reaches our eyes easily than other colours such as yellow/ orange .

Rayleigh scattering is inversely proportional to the fourth power of wavelength, so that shorter wavelength violet and blue light will scatter more than the longer wavelengths (yellow and especially red light)

When the sun is low in the sky during sunset it appears redder than normal, because more blue light than red light is scattered out of the solar light-rays, leaving an excess of red light. Higher wavelength scatters less. Blue scatters more than red.

Sir when an energy of an emitted photon increases in raman scattering is there an increase (as shown by the diagram in 11:55) in the angle of emission by the gain of energy? Or decrease in the angle of emission with respect to the normal in loss of energy.
