I know this is edit but my comment is for Bollywood that - Don't insult our Ramayan.. it's not about graphics ,its about the devotion..and That Animal actor should not at all do the Role of prabhu Shree Ram..Nobody wants him to see in that... Seriously Chahe Mahabharat ho ya Ramayan ,our serial people are much much better -may be their budget is less than that of the film production houses but the divinity,humility & devotion are needed they have them in the serials only..

@@Sujoita yep my bad for not adding Shri before his name. Let's say that they hire TV serial actors. The movie budget wouldn't be that big, and producers wouldn't invest as much as compared to big actors. Ofc this is bad, but it's difficult to change decades of habit in Bollywood, we as viewers can't do much it's all dependent on the big players. The reason everyone feels connected to serial cast is the time they get to express themselves to the viewers. This movie might be a hit, if we get atleast 2-3 parts, but seems like it's not happening. Compressing entire Ramayan in under 3 hours is a very difficult task considering that each and every aspect of Shri Ram's life teaches us something. Even your favourite cast will have a hard time connecting with viewers in just measly 3 hours. Plus you can always watch the TV serial, it'll always be better than the movie, with the number of episodes it has. I'm not denying what you want, just stating facts that the chances of that happening are slim to none. *And you shouldn't overlook the fact that Bollywood is biased towards Bollywood actors rather than TV serial actors, for eg. Sushant singh, Vikrant Massey. Btw it's humility* not humiliation

siddharth malhotra is not even 5 percent acting talent of ranbir , aapke kehne se kuch nhi hota , aise toh mein bhi kisi random actor ko suggest kardu. Ranbir Kapoor is best suited for Shri Ram role. His looks matches closest to Shri Ram imagery and he is very good actor too. Shri Ram is like a Hindu God, tall lean body with deep eyes, kind and benevolent, affectionate face, calm & silent with no aggression. Among present generation actors, Ranbir matches that maximum. He is tall lean with expressive eyes, keeps silent & cool, no muscular heavy body, abs etc. No actors in present is closest to it. This is all irrelevant & nonsense what one eats or drinks in the past, what the actor is doing & how well he can act & look in that character is only important. According to this stupid argument, no actor should play Ram because all of them consume or have consumed in past liquor & non-veg. Then, Ramayan should never be made at all. Even, Shri Arun Govil has said he used to smoke cigarette & drink casually before Ramayan happened, which he quit during Ramayan was made. So according this logic even Arun ji should not have done Shri Ram role. But till date even after 35+ years, he is celebrated, loved & respected in his Ram's role and has done great job in the role

And thats a major issue , that most Of the people are like you , even after being an indian , they do not know a thing about tha literal biggest events that ever happened with human civilisation , that is ramayana and mahabharata , let alone the foreigners and we can hope that these films succeed to show even 5% of the monstrosity that is our documented history

There was only one Ramayan series and that was "Ramayan by Ramanand Sagar". Vo hi thi, vo hi hai or vo hi rhegi💯💯. Itni koshish krne ke baad bhi uski 1% bhi nhi bna Pye abhi tk or Naa hi bna paoge. Chahe Hollywood jaise graphic bhi use klro phir bhi us series ke level ko kbhi match nhi kr paoge. Kuki baat graphic ki nhi emotions ki hai. Or ye baat tumhe smjh hi nhi aa rhi kuki agar aa gyi hoti toh Ramayan ka mazak nhi bnate.
