You can play it like regular tarkov with PMC AI(they added to replace players since its single player only) OR you can play it stalker mode and it connects all the extracts on the map and puts traders in there respective places. @@sealteampepega8403 "and since then constant restrictions have been put in place to ensure the game is a mil sim clone instead of the survival shooter it started out as..." Are you listening to yourself? When you loot in the world right now, what are you looking for? Gear? Food? Weapons? Of course not, you're looking for items with a big dollar value, so you can liquidate them and use the cash to buy what you want from the safety of your hideout, because that's what the game encourages right now. That's not a survival game. That's a milsim shooter with extra steps. For that week when you had to DECIDE if you needed one of your headsets in raid to give you an extra edge or if you thought you could get by without it? When you were throwing expensive statues out of your bag to make room for more food or a spare helmet? When you actually started consciously saving or retrieving your rifle mags because you only had a few? THAT'S a survival game. I don't mind there being traders to give you very basic equipment for when you're in the gutter, but I wouldn't shed a single tear if they deleted the flea.

I want bsg to do something like this with every wipe, like when you're level 1 you dont get access to the traders, you gotta do quest so the traders trust you enough to sell to you, it might even expend the early game, instead of everyone rushing to late game stuff.
@Asporez Жыл бұрын
There is an SPT mod that connects the maps as in the lore, the extract that you take determines the next raid spawn, each trader can only be accessed through 1 extraction point in one of the map, each trader houses a separate stash and hideout for the player. If you want to sell something you have to carry it all the way through multiple raids, if you wan to upgrade your stash you need to carry all the materials to it in multiple raids. The AI is beefed up, every scav is converted to a raider and about 30% into PMCs that have boss AIs.
@jboblk9 ай бұрын
If you want to take it to the next level, there is a mod for tarkov that makes each location only accessible while you are in that area. You start on woods( I think) and depending on which side you extract you can either go back to woods or whatever the extract leads to. Your stash is also split into smaller ones, one at each location. The traders can only be accessed at their respective locations as well. The mod is called Path to Tarkov. I'd also recommend SPT Realism.

I really really wish Tarkov was more like this. i hope this is their goal for full release not just what we have already which is basically a sandbox. remove flea, revamp all trader offers and the game will be exactly that, but nikita will never remove flea, they have talked about a "hardcore mode" but itll only be no flea, they wont change the offers and youll still be queued with people who have access to flea, so it makes 0 difference anyway

Sure, maybe you won't have the most PMC kills of the wipe, but you can be damn sure that you will have more than enough money, get quests done as well as have a great survival rate. If I wasnt ocd as shit I would love playing like this to an extent I do, relying on found meds and ammo and armour, but usually buying the db shotgun and mp18 rifle I like rather then scrappin together an ak like you have, but I did that a few times my first time playing. Finding the balance sounds really hard this is a very on or off situation, but I really like that you can play and succeeded without traders or flea market, roubles are extraction tools and nothing else it is a nice reminder of what the game is proper.
