I understand your point of view, and I believe we can have a mature conversation about it. You seem to see Sacha as a goofball, but he is an established writer, director, and actor who has worked across various genres, including drama. As you probably know, Comedy is considered one of the most challenging genres to act in, and Sacha has truly mastered it. I'm not taking anything away from Rami; I’m a fan of him. He did a good job, and no one can complain about it. He didn’t win an Oscar, though, and I know that’s a difficult feat to achieve, but this is the Freddie Mercury movie. This guy was an icon before I was born. His music lives on KZbin through AI. Listening to his voice in modern songs is fun because he was incredible and talented. That said, I could make a case for Sacha winning an Oscar, especially considering they rejected him because he wanted to tell the whole story of Freddie's life, including the wild parties and other aspects that I feel FREDDY would have appreciated. I might be misquoting, but Freddie Mercury said in his last days, "Whatever you do with my music, you can do whatever you want with it; just don’t make it boring." Considering potential audience reactions, it's evident why they didn't cast Sacha. I respect your opinion and understand your point. However, despite Sacha's longer career, Rami was safer, especially in today's politically correct climate. But that doesn't mean Sacha should have been overlooked. It was a safe choice for the studio, and that makes sense in this age of political correctness My point is I respect what you’re saying and I have nothing wrong with it, but I believe either of them good but I think strongly about my opinion on this from looking more physically embodied Freddy not just the resemblance specially with a mustache, lol but his height and overall build physically. I also think if they told the story that Sacha wanted with Rami still playing Freddie Mercury I do believe that still would’ve been a better film than the one they made.

Except the voice. No. Rémi Malek could not do a single song with Freddies voice. It is a canadian born and raised guy called MARC MARTEL who recorded the songs, not Malek Although Remi was spectacular in his acting skills, he did not sing. He certainly couldnt have with those partial inverted incisors I wish people paid attention to credits, not just Hollywood "glitter" Without Marc's voice, there would be no film.

I agree. Freddy knew it was likely his last time to do something so public in such a big way.
