One of the best things about this scene is Ramirez's adaptation. He knows he's a different time so outside of things he's just completely unaware of, he doesn't act like a moron like so many of movies where a character of the past goes into the future.

@civilwildman I look at it differently. Being as old as he his, he takes cues from what DOESNT change. No matter how things have advanced, a tailor is still a tailor, and we pay him with money, and the government collects taxes. He is very confident that he understood those things that never change.

When you think about it abstractly... all Ramirez did was go back to the tailor's shop which gave him an original set of aristocratic wear back in the day to get something more trendy in the new time period. Good service begets repeat business.

@@TheNYCGoldenGlover if you want to watch 2, the renegade cut would be the one I recommend watching. it takes an absolutely abhorrent movie and makes it watchable. the whole painful "they came from another planet" storyline was torn out the best they could. if you could stomach 3, you should be able to stomach 2RC.

Sean looked so much like Adrian Paul who played Duncan in Highlander The TV Series. And yet in real life they never got to actually meet. Paul mentioned a few years back that they never met even once and he regretted it.

Actually, it could be the reverse. Adrian Paul, if given the opportunity and should he choose to, would be perfect to play young and old Ramirez. If they ever decided to do a revamp of Highlander, it would be Adrian Paul as Ramirez, Richard Madden as Connor Macleod, Kit Harrington as Duncan Macleod, and Kristofer Hivju as the Kurgan. That would be my line up

I dont think I have ever enjoyed a scene this much as an adult watching one of my favorite youthful pursuits. Highlander has been an important part of my life and as such I refuse to do more than watch the original film once a week and read the prequel comics. Because there can be only one. But this.
