Some burger vendor owner will put maggie soya sauce "kicap" when grilling the patty. The saltiness and caramel make the burger even taste better. But no ppl do so already because costly

In Singapore I was told that they can ONLY get Ramly burgers during the month of Ramadan at the Ramadan Bazaars all around the country. In Malaysia they are everywhere everyday....

They may not look the prettiest. They may not be the healthiest burger on the planet. They may not be well-marketed as the ones from other famous burger joints. But let me tell you, we will always come back for these Ramli burgers! So simple, so cheap, so yummy! When I was in the UK, I even placed Ramli burgers on top of my list to eat once I am back in Malaysia (after nasi lemak of course LOL). I also loved that not only you guys reviewed the food you guys eat, but also you took the effort to learn about the food and shared it in your videos! Oh btw, my girlfriend also does the same expression as Sheena at 0:18 - 0:21 before receiving the food she loves. Pure joy right there hahaha.

The best example of a REAL traveller. Ramly burger is what most Malaysians love but foreigners always miss it out. Maybe because most Ramly burger stalls are a lil bit unattractive and roadside-located, but if Ramly burgers are sold at a high-end restaurant, it won't be Ramly burger then. Ramly actually have their own fast food chain but it wasnt too successful and led to a closure to most of their branch. I know two of them near me flat was closed for business recently. I think the one at LRT Station Bandar Tasik Selatan was still operational.

Once you try Ramly Burger, McChicken will never tastes as good like it used to anymore. Ramly Burger's taste varies from one stall to another. It's also cooked in a different style for every states. But the one you guys were having is the standard one. 😁😁

Growing up with Ramly burgers, I was a bit of a burger snob during my early adulthood. Ramly burgers were only to be eaten when nothing else was available. But, after years of grinding select cuts of beef - I almost bought an industrial strength grinder to put at home; thank God my wife got me to change my mind and we got a small Panasonic grinder instead - getting the fluffiest buns, making our own mayonnaise and sauces, sauteeing onions and mushrooms for toppings... I have to admit, the Ramly burger when done right is truly delish. A similar food to burger is the Kebab. The Malaysian version looks very much like a doner kebab and is sold usually at pasar malams. Although the meat starts out on the vertical spit like doner kebabs, but in most places the meats (chicken or beef) are finished on griddles. You'll meet chilli sauce and mayo again, but instead of cabbage, the meat is accompanied by julienned cucumbers, stuffed in either a hot dog bun or pita bread. Been ages since I've had one, why don't you guys give it a try :)

Ramli Burger is a must to have every time I visit Malaysia a specially Kuala Lumpur. I love the chicken with eggs or Benjo (egg only patty’s). Thank God Kuala Lumpur just a two hour flight from Jakarta so I can have it many times in a year.

Who doesn't like a sesame bun filled with a crispy chicken 🐔 /lamb 🐐 /beef 🐄 patty, sauces, onion, tomato 🍅 and salad leaves 😙 Some of the Ramly burger sellers sells kebabs, roti john (toasted soft baguettes on an omelette with some minced meat and topped with veggies and sauces and cheese) and unusual burgers- some sell rabbit 🐰 (you read it right, rabbit burgers), camel 🐫, ostrich and venison (deer 🦌) burgers. About the roti john, some venders sells roti john meleleh, which is roti john with plenty of cheese sauce. Every bite of it is guaranteed to be reallllllly cheesy. My usual order at the Ramly burger vendor is the Double Trouble- chicken and beef patty in a burger wrapped in egg topped with cheese. In Miri, Sarawak, we have Ramly burgers too. We also have our own Miri-based local franchise (i forgot the name). They sell so called Mexican burger- a reaaaaaaaaaallly large burger with grilled, 20-cm diameter beef patty (RM15 or so). They sell unusual burgers too- venison 🦌, rabbit 🐰, and ostrich burgers. You know what- Mr Ramly is a real Malay genius after all 😎

Big ups to Mr Ramly!! Have you tried any of the more exotic burgers Prince Righty I? I wonder if they are very popular or if people just tend to stick to beef, chicken and lamb mostly. I tried rabbit burger before- it tasted pretty much like duck. Venison and camel burgers are great but hard to find. I guess nobody is eating those except me hahaha You're right; most Malaysians prefer (in sequence) chicken, beef and lamb burgers. Some Ramly burger vendors sell fish burger too- tastes sooooo much better than Macca's Fillet-o-fish. Usually I will order the most unusual burger available. You must try Roti John. It's burger redefined, Malaysian style.

i'm from malaysia also but currently live in manhattan...u know what the secret behind ramly burger...its the sauce...no.1 use oyster sauce ..no.2 use sweet thai sauce...mix it al with ketchup...thats the flavour....obviously been cooking it in the state for my friends but i use minced meat...its not the patty that has flavour but the sauce....when cutting the patty into half...put salt and white pepper as seasoning and lil bit of tumeric...make it much better

A Malaysian currently staying in Australia here for studies, and I really missed Ramly burgers for almost 2 years now. The one original Ramly stall for me sits in PJS7, Subang Jaya, Selangor, right around the front of 99 Speedmart on weekday nights. No, it was a proper setup like Wendy's, Carl's Junior, Burger King and all that. Ramly never own any of the street carts afaik but they did monopoly the business for the bread, the wrapping paper and the burger patty. That's why you see almost every street burger vendor use their products.

u can go if you want. but for me..my own opinion, the street burger stall are wayyy better than the ramly burger kiosk. you will be dissapointed.

Ramly burger is everywhere in Malaysia you can found especially in town food court restaurant.. it's very cheap looking but taste full of richness and flavor sauces..
