The " You sexy m-fer" that Richadr said at the beginning was for Prince Rogers Nelson who had just passed away. RIP Prince.

What you heard about Stage fright was right, Lindemann himself talked about it and said how he would often focuss on something in the background and also said that part of the shows having so much pyro was to avoid eye contact with the crowd while standing still during the guitar parts cuz it would make him so nervous. Judging by the way he performs it really worked out for him lol

This song is a direct reference to the novel 'Perfume: The Story of a Murderer ' by Patrick Süskind, which in turn was inspired by a real murderer who served as an inspiration to the original werewolf legend. The book is about a young man with a fantastic sense of smell who becomes a perfumer to capture the best scents. He comes to the conclusion that young women emit the best smell and murders many of them and tries different methods to preserve 'their essence'. Big recommendation to read the book, it is very interesting. Honestly, not surprising that Till wrote a song about it considering his thing for fetishes and murder.

This was the bands first ever single and music video. And yeah Till had huge stage fright. So if he performs he focus's on a random pole or tree in the background so he can cut out the crowd. It's why it's rare to see him so still. I don't know how he does it. I always love seeing your guys Rammstein reactions!

You'll love the official period horror video for the '98 version. The '95 version of it was their first music video and is low budget affair, that they got laughably accused of being neo-nazi's for it, just because of the way they look and being shirtless. Seeing as it is more difficult to get away with reacting to their official vids, I suggest going and watching both of those off camera. As I said in your previous video - Flake (fluc-ka is 6'7) and Oli the bass player is 6'8 :)

It is absolutly corect, Till Lindemann has stage fright, that's the reason why he came up with all the pyrotechnics stuff, so he could focus on something else.

you should comment as well Rammlied from Madison Square Garden, its fantastic, fast and a little bit aggressive but with an intro and finish very melodic. Funny is, he has a light in his mouth

Stage fright is real. It's like the red light for television~ live. Til always liked to perform (even an Olympic alternate for EG swimming). He morphs into Psyco Tillie on stage be it Rammstein, Lindemann or just reading children's poems (he's an accomplished poet). I'd say with full confidence that Oliver is definitely the quietest of the group.

Well when you like "Rammstein" then probably you would like the music project of the Singer Till Lindemann as well. It is a 2 man project which exists since 2016 of Till Lindemann and a swedish friend of his named Peter Tägtren who plays every instruments at their tracks..the Project is called "Lindemann" and they made 2 Albums..the first is called "Skills and Pills" and the second one is called "F&M" And by the way there are some songs sung in English by Till as well. And the lyrics are way more crazy than Rammstein lyrics. here is one video of "Lindemann" as teaser for you to get to know what to expect. the song is called "Praise Abort" from the "Skills and Pills" Album kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4iokIBmeL1sidE

Till does have terrible stage fright and social anxiety. You can actually see it in many lives performances! They also had once a power cut during a 2016 concert and played Ohne Dich acoustic. He left the stage twice because his mic didn't work and Schneider (the drummer) went after him. You can watch it here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKbbf4OObtWKjdU

Stage fright and crippling social anxiety. And just a lot of anxiety in general. When the Berlin Wall fell and his friends were out partying, he was hiding in his bed because he was scared. He will do everything possible to not get into fights/arguments because he's terrified of them. UNLESS it's to defend a friend. He broke a guy's jaw for being a creep to a friend, but that's another story. When he gets a dud microphone, he isn't throwing it for show. He's just really that stressed out about it. When band conflicts happen, he will literally beg them to stop because the yelling scares him. He's honestly a walking anxiety attack at almost all times.

It's kind of funny, I grew up in Germany in the eighties with Iron Maiden, Dio (Hell yeah!!), Ozzy, Judas and Metallica and these bands were gods to us - maybe beacause we all living in amerika ;) In 1995 I heard Rammstein for the first time, quite late, and for me as a metalhead it wasn't that special because no metal, very simple and a bit cheesy - ok the choruses have always been catchy but not at all like Manowar or other bands from the States ( e.g Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Vicious Rumors and so on and on and on). Now 2020 -and already since Rammstein´s Medison Square Garden gig I'm really surprised how Rammstein arrives in the States - twisted history. I have to say, though, that Rammstein+ videos (not live) have a pretty high artistic value. However, it is fun to watch your content. Keep on rockin
