Yep, this was their entrance song for their "Festival Tour " that lasted from 2016 to 2017. Such a cool entrance and such genius song.

Tomorrow will be the 5th anniversary from that tour (and my first Rammstein concert!) genuine intro song with everything that comes with it (the countdown from 5mins to 0 & to see Paul & Richard coming down from the top) they truly know how to hype a crowd without playing an instrument it's surreal.

Honestly, Rammstein could make a song by singing the phonebook of New York in alphabetical order, and it still would sound like the most amazingly genious song ever written. Seriously!

It's not just that song titles are sung here. They are meaningfully connected to each other. "Bend over" and "America" become "Bend over America" 😁 for example. Entire sentences are formed and meaningfully intertwined. Great reaction from you and you are the first I have seen so far who noticed this.

The only part of the song, where they aren't forming sentences out of their song titles, is, when they are singing "Auferstanden aus Ruinen, Glück für Menschen und Maschinen", what is pretty genius, too. Because "Auferstanden aus Ruinen" (risen from the ruins) was the national anthem of the socialist east German state GDR (DDR), where they grew up. "Glück für Menschen und Maschinen" (good luck for humans and machines) is genius, because it directly hints towards their style of music (Industrial Metal).

I'm so glad I got to hear this song live when I saw them in Las Vegas in 2017. This song isn't on any LP, so hearing it live was amazing. The opening acts were Korn & Stone Sour. It also happened to be the first day that Nevada legalized recreational Grass, so I was baked like a potato and so was the entire venue. The T Mobile arena was packed to the brim as it was completely sold out. Definitely my favorite concert of all time and a one of a kind event for sure! I ended up failing a Psychology test just to score badass seats to this show and I don't regret it. I've seen Tool before, and they come a close second. Rammstein is such an unbelievably good band both live and in studio. I've seen them 3 times in the last decade, and I'll be seeing them two nights in a row next September in Los Angeles. I can't get enough! Where are you guys seeing them at if I may ask? :) (Even if the lyrics are just song titles, they're arranged to tell some kind of story. They're not just randomly naming their songs)

This is kind of similair to Megadeth's "Victory" in that references other song titles/lyrics, but does so in a way that makes a coherent song. I'd say this was probably put together quite quickly in time for their comeback for the festival season, so that they'd have something new to play, but hasn't been released as a studio recorded version (at least not yet, but you can hear a tiny bit in the first teasers vids for their 2019 stadium tour videos). On the topic of songs not on albums, check out the video for "Mein Land", it's a great song they recorded for their best-of album, but in this case, have yet to play live.

Oh yes, 2016 festival tour. Seen them on Highfield festival near Leipzig, paid unbelievable 200€ for the ticket just to arrive on Sunday for this Rammstein concert. It was the first time i've seen then open air, but only a narrow view what should follow in 2019 in Dresden and Berlin. Can't wait 'til next year and see them live again!

In the start of the Intro, before the drum is setting in, it reminded me (only a few seconds of it) of the beginning of "Behind the wheel" by Depeche Mode. Then when the drum sets in it reminded me of "Personal Jesus", also from Depeche Mode. And the guitar notes while he was coming down reminded me of "Beautiful people" from Marylin Manson

Not all the shows from this tour started after sunset. You should experience the pink fireworks from the beginning during a daylight opening. It gives another dimension. @@rstein5432 Yeah, during their European Festival run they ended up playing near sunset in many places. It's cool because when they came to the US, the only option they had was closed venues with capacity of about 20K, so the experience was so much more personal regardless of where you were at. It was only about 4 or 5 cities, so they had no problem selling them out. I drove 9 hours and almost drove into a wildlife on my way back to California from Las Vegas haha
