Thank you very much for your very good interpretation of the RAMMSTEIN songs. I am a fan this band. German can be a very intense language, especially when singing. There are no intermediate sounds in German, everything is pronounced with an open mouth. Every regular verb ends with "en" in the basic form: singen, tanzen, spielen, tauchen, rauchen etc. The verbs are conjugated very strongly in German, different from English. As long as they are regular you can rhyme them very well. German is like a LEGO construction set, you can put everything together, you just have to know how to do it. There are few sentence constructions, only one word decides what the sentence means. You have to know this key words, thats the key. For example in english: "I am working" in german you can say: "Ich bin am arbeiten" that is a sentence construction or "Ich arbeite gerade". The word "gerade" is the key word. It means it is in progress. So you have two options to express the process in German. But grammar is not so important, you will be understood form all Germans, no problem. But the most important is the music and the music unite us all. The music makes us to friends and we are friends. Best regards from Berlin /Germany

Actually, (sorry, but I have to write another comment) I think that you are ready to hear another - the darkest - part of Rammstein. Knowing that you, Dominica, like dark stuff, I think you would appreciate that side of their music a lot, even if it might sound too heavy for you. So I suggest starting with "Wiener Blut" (live from educatedmarine channel) and then go on with "Stein um Stein", "Puppe" (I recommend this one to be the album version, because there is still not a good live one when it comes to the sound and especially Till's vocals), maybe I would put in that group of songs "Heirate mich" and "Mein Teil", too. I am really curious what you would both think of these songs. But at the other side don't forget their softer songs which are true jewels to me. You have already heard some of them, but there are a lot more, like "Donaukinder" (I have mentioned that one already), "Amour", "Diamant", "Lügen", "Hilf mir", "Strib nicht vor mir", "Adieu"... the list is really long. I know that you already have too many recommendations, but if some of these songs I mentioned stands out from the comments, just don't hesitate. 🖤

Lots of people say the german Language sounds harsh and aggressive and make lots of jokes about it. But when you watch these joke videos, they always scream when they pronounce german words and when it comes to other languages, they always say the words at a normal volume. Absolutely ridiculous! LMAO Funny to see you rocking to the rythms. I do it too without normally noticing it. The music is so powerful, they are worshipped in Japan and most of them do not understand german afaik 😂 Rammstein has always been splitting the critics into two lairs. And probably one of the most used terms to define Rammstein is "morbid" There is a german author - I don't recall his name - but his works are from the beginnings of the 20th hundreds, who inspired inspired the first songs from Rammstein if I aint wrong.
