Rammstein - Morgenstern (REACTION) with my wife

Well, it’s easy to explain. Instead of fulfilling the singer’s wish to make the „ugly“ person’s face beautiful, Morgenstern opens the singer’s heart to see the „ugly“ person‘s inner beauty.

if you translate lyrics literally then sure... but also because Rammstein's songs often have double meaning.... I thought it might have a second meaning where some psycho man thinks that a woman (maybe his woman) is ugly and he "fixes" it.... with a Morgenstern :) which is if you know a big spiked mace...

From how I interpreted it. Morgenstern (morning-star) is the goddess venus (goddess of beauty and love) from roman mythology. And in the first verse it is presumably a girl that pleads to this goddess because she is ugly and wants to become beautiful. The small parts where "You are ugly." is sang, it is probably about people that laugh at her and say that. In the second verse, it isn't in fact the girl talking. But instead another person ("I saw children of the sun in the throng." - "Cast a warming light, onto my *beloved*.") I am unsure if it is her boyfriend or lover talking, or someone that saw her and wanted her to perhaps not suffer. The third verse is venus showing everyone not her facial beauty but instead her inner beauty and her values. Totally a great idea to join make a comment on this a year later, isn't it?

Other than Andrei thinks, Till is a very shy and introverted person when not on stage. When you would have him as a neighbour, you wouldn't even notice... maybe. :)

Awesome as always! Please react to Stein um Stein at Völkerball with subtitles. After listening to "Radio" you might consider where they were born when listening to it. Also if you want to know how Till's character is when he is not on stage, watching (and hopefully reacting to it!) some making ofs of their music videos will give you a nice look on that. I believe the song is about low self esteem or body dysmorphia. She believes she is so ugly that she'll scare the light away. my interpretation is she kept saying how ugly she was and she didn't believe the boyfriend when he said that wasn't true...the BF after constantly hearing her say how ugly she was and pointing out flaws that he began seeing more of her flaws to the point where he is also asking the morning star to make her beautiful. But at the end when the morning star appears, instead of shining on her like they both expected, it shines on him. So now instead of seeing only with his eyes...he now sees with his heart and realizes that she is beautiful my 2nd interpretation is like my 1st everything exactly the same except that the guy really did think she was ugly but even though he thought that..he still loves her.
