This is also the only official professional recording of this song live. It was first used on the Mutter tour , which is a rare time period for pro recordings. It was brought back for a little bit during the Reise Reise tour (when this was filmed), but was dropped early in the tour for Asche Zu Asche. So it was never on the main "Volkerball" show in Nimes. This was a DVD extra. They did a couple of performances years later when it replaced Ich Tu Dir Weh for a few shows when the song was "banned". That was last it was played back in 2010

This was from the Brixton Academy in London. It's near 100 year old building that was originally a cinema/theatre hence the old timey theatre look with the columns and boxes to sit in

This song is definitely about doing the deed. The line "Und tausend Elefanten brechen aus" is a metaphorical reference to, well...a shot of the very substance that gives way to life, and the cells that are within (which march forward like a herd of elephants, lol), so to speak 😂

The text is full of irony. Here, Till makes fun of men who brag about their potency, but are actually not that great. The line of text "the ride was short, I'm sorry" shows this clearly. Also, not all Rammstein songs are rich in lyrics. Some are just meant to be fun.

Hallo aus England. In German, 'ei' is pronounced like 'eye' and 'ie' is pronounced 'ee'. Zum Beispiel... Das wort 'Beispiel' klingt wie 'eye' und 'ee'. Bei 'bye' und 'spiel' 'sp-ee-l'.

I am from Germany and I can tell you that some V's are spoken like F's, like in Vogel(bird) or Völkerball, so speak Foogel, just the letters are more spoken as they are. But other V's are more likely spoken with W for Example: Vegan, so like in english in that case, so speak Wegaan. I hope I could help you. keep it💯

German "Volk", pl. "Völker" has the same root (with a different meaning) as English "folk" (in German the L is pron.), so the V is pronounced F as in all words of Germanic origin, e.g. Vogel (bird) is pron. "Fogel". Exceptionally V is pron. W in words of Latin or French origin, e.g. Video is pron. "Wideo" as in English. German EI is always pron. like "I", "wide" (= weit), "right", so it's "RammstIn", never like in "seen": weit, breit (pron. like bride), gescheit (intelligent, pron. like in fight). Not too difficult, isn't it?

Essa música parece falar só de sacanagem e putaria, mas os textos e poesia nas letras do Till são ambiguo. Falar de sacanagem, do ato de sexo, mas també falar sobre o uso do efeito das drogas no corpo humano. Rammstein e Till sempre aborda temas de forma póetica e critica, com teor da humanidade, teor sobre o tempo, contos alemãs e etc. Quando na letra falar sobre elefantes se refere ao carregamento de drogas chegando, os cavalinhos na letras são representado o efeito de euforia momentanea que a droga causa, quandos os cavalinhos parar significar efeito acabando e abstinecia do ser em querer mais droga. Dentro e fora se refere ao uso da droga por injeção. A música aborda uma realidade do efeito da droga no corpo humano e a dependencia dela, não é pra incentivar, mas alertar a triste realidade desses dependentes.

Some of Till's lyrics are about exactly what they seem to be about. This is about the Lyrical I being a prolific but inept lover who thinks he pleases every woman. The "tausend Elefanten" that break out is the Lyrical I's ejaculation. It's "Adios" that is about the effects of a heroin injection on the body.

Tem inteligencia pra entender o significado Ambiguo? Se pesquisar no google a alemanha é uma das top 4 paises de turismo sexual. Só vou te responder essa vez. Porque você realmente curte Rammstein, mas não entende a banda e o Till Liendemann, em outras palavras não entende Poesia e suas varias formas e variedade. Quando um burro diz que o gramado é azul, é melhor nem discutir com o burro, se não burro vai ser eu perdendo meu tempo explicando pra você sobre poesia do Till Liendmann. Boa sorte na sua vida!
