my cousin who turned 48 yesterday sent me this cartoon on my 66 birthday this morning 03-31-24 hahaha i used to change his diapers when he was a baby after i got outta the army coming back from germany...now he's 2 years away from retiring from being a detective with the l.a.p.d., together with his older brother also a cop in blue. ya gotta love it!...when this cartoon was first shown, he was a 17 year old high schooler.

I'm not very familiar with The Ramones' body of work either, but in my youth one of their songs really got planted in my head/heart/chakra. For years and years, I LOVED this song, the melody would just pop into my head, but I couldn't figure out the lyrics to save my life. I thought the main lyric was "Lipstick Pup" (Google searches came up empty -- funny that). Turns out it was the Ramones' BLITZKRIEG BOP!!!
