My Dog Pissed On My Line 6 DL4 Pedal And Ruined It ... Can I Fix It For Science?

So... a little over a year ago, my dog pissed on my Line 6 DL4.... And in this video, we take it apart and inspect it ...and try ti fix it. I tried to fix it initially, when the incident happened and to no avail. It hasn't worked since. So, here we go... round two. I take it apart and clean it up and test it out again.
The Line 6 DL4 is my favorite delay pedal and it's been part of my live sound for 2 decades. In my opinion, it's one of the most versatile and best sounding delay pedals on the market.
I love my animals, and took it in stride. Being a pet owner takes patience and my dogs are more important than guitar pedals. While I wished it didn't happen, theirs nothing you can really do about it. I learned a lesson that day...don't leave my pedals exposed and on the floor when I leave the house because anything can happen! LOL.

I used DeOxit on a 24 year old remote control for my surround sound system. My wife had spilled coffee on it with cream & sweetener. I first got all the coffee off with alcohol, then used DeOxit, and it worked.

Hey Marty , Years ago I left my 1959 Gretsch 6120 downstairs in the guitar case with my dog when we came back home my wife and I discovered a shredded 1959 Gretsch guitar case. My bad for trusting my dog alone with my guitar in the first place . Another time our pet cat barked on my Stratocaster guitar case. Moral of the story watch when you leave your stuff. Sorry to hear that bad news

when flood or dog piss on electronics, clean everything with 90% fricton isopropyl alcool and let it dry. water will get out and wait a day or 2 before putting power
