At least having the footage of Robyn conversing with her kids lets the viewers see how manipulative Robyn is. We saw how Robyn rephrased what the daughters were saying to reflect what Robyn wanted to hear. Or wanted us viewers to understand what her daughters really meant. At that age, people are defending their country, paying rent, getting married, working, etc. They both speak and act like they’re 12 and 13, respectively. The thing about Kody taking Breanna to get her ears pierced FOR THE FIRST TIME at 19, and they took her to Claire’s. That’s what I did when my daughter was like 5. They infantilize their daughters, and it’s bizarre to me. The girls don’t seem like they have any independence, motivation, drive, or curiosity about the world.

​I don't think that's completely true. Both children are attending college, which is great and demonstrates their independence, motivation, and drive. The daughter mentioned taking a religion course in Buddhism, showing curiosity about the world and an interest in exploring different churches to understand their spirituality. They may also be close to their mother and want to attend church as a family, especially since they have younger siblings. While I do think their children are more sheltered than others, I grew up in a sheltered environment too. However, what they’re doing right now reflects the qualities you’re referring to. I don't think that's completely true. They are both attending college, which is great, which shows their independence and motivation drive. The daughter stated that after taking a religion course in Buddhism, which shows curiosity around the world, she wants to look into different churches to look into their spirituality. And they might be very close to their mother, and they want to maybe attend church as a family because they do have younger siblings as well. I do think that their children are more sheltered than others. I grew up in a sheltered environment as well. But what they're doing right now kind of showcases the qualities that you're talking about.
