@ Robyn did say that they had been exposed as the nanny had Covid. All of the visiting family had to test for Covid before being allowed to come to the party. Evidently, that didn’t include Kody, Robyn and their kids or they wouldn’t have been concerned about exposing everyone. They did film all of Kody’s going to a drive in testing place and they tested negative. Eventually, Brianna is the one that had Covid then the rest of the family, except for Aurora came down with Covid. My guess is Robyn made such a big deal about them getting together wasn’t a good idea because look what was going on. Hard to tell if the nanny ever really did have Covid. It was a great way to keep the family from getting together again. That is just my guess. Most likely she did, but who knows. They sure like to stretch the truth on this how….

It was just ironic that the person who was allowed to go in & out of their house at will, and on whom the “rules” were based, not only got COVID, she exposed the whole family to it. It was also ironic that the rest of the family had been practically begging to get together and K & R insisted it wasn’t “safe” - until Ari demanded (according to Kody) a big bday celebration. Fortunately, no one in the family got sick…and no one blamed the nanny. Unlike Kody, who pre-blamed Gabe & Garrison for exposing his “tenders” to it and yet crickets from him when it was ultimately Brianna who brought it home. No shade towards Brianna, sometimes COVID just happened…pretty sure she wasn’t going around licking doorknobs…

Oh, I interpreted that in a completely different way. I didn't hear her bragging that he called her, giddy for the attention - I heared her pointing out that 1) he hadn't responded to the text about her going up there in the first place, however 2) as soon as he got the text, that she had gotten the release due to negligence, he called her up right away to complain. So I feel like she called him out! That he only wanted to interact with her, to make sure he wasn't put in a bad light. When she talked about how she has seen parents wanting to decide a religious path for their children, and that she has never wanted to do so - I almost wanted to barf. This is the same women, who was yelling at the other mothers kids, that they could decide when their frontal lobes were developed and even tried to pin the siblings against each other, wanting them to say that Maddie was wrong for wanting to seek out a religious fellowship outside AUB. That’s what I said, regarding kody completely cherry picking his religious doctrine. He has a complete inability to go to any church, & just sit there, & stfu. Kody asks Robyn if he is still “safe” for her kids. What has been going on between Kody and the kids at McMansion? Kody accepts Robyn as the arbiter of whether he is “safe” for her kids? If he is asking, something bad must have happened. Has he been “unsafe” for her kids previously? If so, why is he still in the house? Why has Robyn not moved her kids out of his reach for safety. Is Robyn his caretaker? Breana and Aurora said that he is intense and intimidating. I suspect that they were understating the situation. Maddie has said that she did not realize how dysfunctional and abusive growing up in polygamy was until she started reading parenting books with her son was 2. Why is Kody asking Robyn if he is still “safe” for her kids?

Kody was seen as a good father when the kids were little. His visits to each house were akin to the circus coming to town, and Kody represented the "clown show." However, when the kids got older, and had their own minds, they also were able to see through his schtick. A narcissist feeds on adoration, and they stopped fawning over him. I think he's experiencing that now with Robyn's older kids, too. It strikes me how sad Robyn's girls look.

Here's my take about Mer. At this point, I do not feel much empathy or sympathy for Meri. She knows that Kody has treated her badly for many, many years. He does not love her - never did. The reality is he used her. He's shouted it to the world on TV. She chooses to hold out hope that he will somehow "wake up" and love her again. Until or unless she is able to accept her part in refusing to accept that her marriage was over years ago, she is stuck and won't be able to construct a more healthy, happy life for herself.
