Situations we've seen Chris in gives us a glimpse into who he actually is as a person without personally knowing him. Being totally honest he's a better man than me because, vet or not, with the guys attitude and antics, I would have completely lost my temper and would have either had to leave the guy to figure it out in his own or I would have said a lot that I would probably feel bad about later. Being a vet doesn't give you a pass to act like that

If you sit and stare at it long enough you'll eventually pull through and figure out a way to get something somewhere. Helps if you disconnect your trailer from your truck if you're in a bind like that. You can shove the trailer somewhere you're not worried about being able to get your truck out of with it attached, then reconnect and roll on out.

@@Cameron78998 @Camaroon If people are wrong about something, it is prudent on many levels to correct them. In a healthy world the person doing the correcting would also be thanked for doing so. And, while this world is certainly anything but "healthy" these days, I will not be dragged down by that fact, and thus I thank "OpiumTrail". Language is also very important; if one does not value their own respective "native" language, it indicates they have forgotten or abandoned their roots and culture and, as such, it also generally indicates they have no allegiances to anything or anyone. This is unnatural and destructive on many levels. I have watched as language has been gradually polluted and desecrated, over several decades now. Many meanings of words have been entirely inverted, even. It is purely evil. And, of course, the usual destructive elements that have plagued this world for millennia, are the ones behind it all. And, left unchecked, they WILL destroy this world, and in short order, I will add. We should always aspire to be improve ourselves, and assist each other in doing so. Otherwise, we have failed our time here... We have failed the "test".

Getting that U-Haul truck out of there looked extremely stressful. The driving style of the new owner looked more appropriate for a buggy stuck in the sand dunes than a HD truck with a trailer close to obstacles. Craziness. Javier's story is inspiring and typical of immigrants to this country. Where others may have seen an eyesore, he saw opportunity in the old building. With hard work and family commitment to the project, he repurposed the crumbling structure and created a profitable business. Immigrants helped build this country and my great-great grandfather who arrived in New York from his native Ireland in 1841 was a part of that. Thank you for this story.

And as is always with military. Mistakes are always made. But you find a way through it and survive. You're rougher through it at the end but you survived. Basically you watched him back in the service. People gave him a hard time because of the ways and names you called him. Which is probably accurate, but without the full details, that's why people are treating the vet the way they are.
@LAactor Жыл бұрын
I disagree about you that people need to be reminded by there being a guard over the bridge. There are people in society too fragile to understand that it's a one way trip or the return trip is not anywhere anyone wants to be. Every single person who was lucky enough to survive says the moment they left contact was instant regret. And that's a sad way to go. Even those who might be caught in a wind and blown over. Life matters. Everyone's.

@@NoNonsenseKnowHow I think (actually I know) this guy suffers from anxiety in stressful situations and reacts to it by getting angry and lashing out. That's probably why his dog ran off as it was also feeling the stress which only made the situation more stressful. True that. It was definitely a tight fit. And I dont know the guys story or to bash him you know. However it wasn't impossible. They did prevail on getting the trucks out. And Chris did fore warn him about how difficult the situation was. Now If that had been myself I think I would of tried to have a couple of buddies there to help spot it. Secondly checked the area out first. Make a plan of attack. For example maybe it would of been more wise to find a spot to park the trailer. Then take just the pickup truck in and winch/pull the u haul truck out of the lot onto the street then load it up. But in the end the calm and cool head of Chris made the difference. Sometimes when things get frustrating its best to stop regroup think or even go for a walk and take a moment to think the problem out. Getting rammy or full throttle doesn't always resolve a situation.
